Jeremy was one of my first Tutors and he is great! It´s always nice that outstanding artists appear where you never thought they could!

@@mayastatic Me too ! I learned from him in days what I couldn't learn in a school for months. Hard to find someone who teaches well and inspires at the same time.

Very interesting, can the created shaders be imported to unity?

When changing the colour of lights, the toon objects don’t seem to react at all, there’s just a white highlight on them even if the light is bright red. Am I missing something or do I have to adjust the actual toon shader colours to appear as if they’ve been lit up differently.

It's 2024, and they have yet to decide to graciously allow us artists to do this. At least, not clearly.
There are plugins that you can use to make this happen... But natively, no. They fully expect you to ramp shade every object manually.
Heaven forbid you want to introduce a yellow light into your scene in the animation to change the mood without creating a WHOLE NEW SCENE with a completely new set of ramp gradients.
There may be a way through the nightmare, the connections area, to connect things in unconventional ways to make it happen or worse, through learning Python and making it happen yourself. If you do that, hold it ransom for a ton of money because, clearly, their engineers can't do it.
I hope you've switched to a different software developer that actually listens. If I hadn't been forced to use this software for class, I would have used Blender + Unreal.

Do you take any suggestions for the videos ?

  • @AndresWalsh

The end of the video should really match the render shown at the beginning. The final render is not half as good as the first render you show.

I agree, but don't you find that whenever you try to recreate an old render from scratch, especially for a 5 minute video, it never looks quite the same?

@@LeeGriggs That's true. Color grading to the rescue. Kidding.
