I don't understand why it's so hard to find a triology of films that are as good as Jason Bourne. I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks so. Today's films feature majestic scenes but none of them stir up the adrenaline rush of Jason Bourne. Love this series so much ❤️
john wick is pretty good but i dont think anyone will top bourne

Reality
Hands down it is one of the greatest action- thriller of all time. I think Matt Damon deserves a lot more credit for this role. Great direction, along side with screenplay and sound mixing. An absolute pleasure to watch.

To this date, I still recall all trilogy films and the Nicky chase scene was the most intense I've ever watch among the three films. Wish I could rewatch it again with memories of it erased prior.

One detail I love about ultimatum is how at 3:33 he so casually saves the guy’s life (from his own distraction sure but whatever). Even though Bourne is running he tries to avoid casualties. Hilarious how the dude grilling looks so confused like “who is this man why is he grabbing me where is he taking me” 😂😂😂

I believe the beauty of it is that he knew it, and stayed cool like other operatives. For albeit he was not Bourne, these trained agents were no joke.
I haven"t seen any other spy films better that bourne series.The tricky powerful music,the direction,the camera,the scenario also Matt Damons expressions and compat tactics.Brilliant made.A masterpiece.
The one thing i really like about the series is it has a story line, NOT just series of stunts held together with a very flimsy story to it, like most of the recent movies
Very very true. But that's also because it's based on novels so an established storyline was a given.

Having read all the Bourne Books by Robert, I must say the adaptation to a moving picture sequel is just fine work. Matt Damon is really a master Jason Bourne. I've never stopped repetition of the whole Bourne collection since then, nothing like it in fictional originality!

Tough action packed, edge of your seat movie. I love all the Bourne movies.
Bourne is the ultimate badass. Having read the books I was seriously concerned about Matt Damon in the role but he did a fabulous job portraying Bourne. Wish they had followed the books a little more closely though.

actually, it is the only instance where I think that the movie was atually much better than the book
The movies are much easier to follow but the book IMO is much better. One thing I didn't like about the movie is how they left out Carlos even though he's a major reason why Bourne/Cain/Delta/Webb came to be. However, I can understand the timeframe restrictions of the book and the film.
@@masterchiefpettyofficerspa3646 No, it's not about a movie being "easier to follow". In the book there are a lot of scenes about his traumatized psyche and in my opinion it's not believable at all. The character itself is in my opinion just poorly written in the book. In the movies they did a good job not to include most of these scenes, it would turn the movie from a hero movie to a psychiatric documentary.

Undoubtedly Bourne series set a mile stone for espionage action thrillers. The fights are realistic, intense performance by all actors; the only sore point is shaky camera and quick cuts. In 20 seconds, you see 10 different shots tiring our eyes and head. I do not know whether it's the idea of Director Paul Greengrass Or photographer Oliver Wood who also marred another memorable action thriller " Safe House " with shaky camera and quick cuts one becomes dizzy trying to figure out who and what in the shot .
Camera work on the action scenes are fine, it is in context with what is happening.
Just love the Matt Damon series of Jason Bourne just ultimate
