I lived in Manila at the time this movie was shot there. An Australian friend worked on it as a set designer. Freelance. They shot this near Edsa. A big street in Manila. Was cool they used Manila as the location. It’s a chaotic city. The traffic can be mind boggling but somehow it seems to work for them. They are used to it. All the jeepney’s too.

its aurora blvd. towards manila already. far from EDSA haha. Then at 4:28 it cuts to Marikina - a totally different part and city of Metro Manila. And at the last part at 6:30, its in Malabon, again a another city in the metro. As someone who is from Manila it doesn't make sense hahah! But that's CINEMA haha🌠

the first part of the chase shows how dangerous it is to lane split during a moderate traffic in manila. those senseless sudden swerves every few seconds by cars were so accurate. but if you've driven there for years, you can actually predict them by their body (vehicle) language and split with ease.
how Jeremy Renner is needed in this type of movies, the truth is, he looks good, I hope to see him in other projects of this magnitude, from Honduras 🇭🇳🇭🇳🇭🇳
I like when he says " Now hang on tight and follow me" . If you are on the back of a motorcycle, there is absolutely nothing else you can do except hang on tight. Following is automatic!

This movie is incredibly underrated. Much better than the last Bourne, just not quite as good as the first two.

Agreed. Imperfect, but very underrated, and vastly superior to the 4th Damon Bourne. I lover Renner in this, and wish a second Bourne universe had been possible-it would have been fascinating; and would have loved to see Gilroy continue to spin his magic in this franchise.
This really shows how to beat the traffic in Metro Manila - through imagination! The chase starts in the South (Taft Avenue), moves to the West (Aurora Boulevard), appears near Intramuros, then to the East (was that a Todammi tricycle in Marikina @5:25?) and finally ends up in the North (Harbor?) all in 8 minutes!

It's not a flop.. Somehow they manage to earned 27 million usd on this movie so it's not that bad.

I have to rewatch this great Movie, I live near this area Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard where part of the shot was taken and was a witness and a commuter while this was being filmed. I have rewatch since the bridge that was shown there thay exist since the 70s is now gone and remove to paved way for the Skyway, brings a lot of memories since I was born near the area.
I love Jeremy Renner! He's the best action star in the movie. But I want Matt Damon in Jason Bourne (2016).

It always amazes me how the villain always knows which way to go to chase after they've lost sight of their target.
I'm pretty sure he was using the police radio to keep track of him.
You get magic hero radar as part of your villain equipment kit. I thought this was common knowledge.
Experience, just think 'where would I have gone if it was me'.

Jeremy was good looking back then. Looked up to him as a middle schooler. He should play the dad of a teen scientist. In fact he should play the dad of two teen scientists. Boy and girl. In a whole family of scientists and that is a musical since he can sing

Mission Impossible and Fast Furious would have shot same location after Bourne Legacy unfortunately they canceled it due to PH filming laws unfavorable to producer

I really hope another big Hollywood movie will film in the Philippines. Dan Brown’s book Inferno mentioned Manila as the gates of hell. Maybe they could film around the beautiful old churches in historic old Manila like San Augustine in Intramuros or the round church in Paco. The modern part BGC or Ayala and the isolated beaches
Inferno was already made in 2016. They changed the location of the "gate of hell" in the movie instead of being in Manila because of how sensitive our "religious groups" are. They can't distinguish the difference between a fact and a fiction.
BGC,Ayala,Makati and Ortigas are the best Locations for a Shoot.
I mean there's a lot of Hollywood films who used Manila/Philippines as their setting but in reality it was filmed in american territories. Just like the Uncharted, Godzilla, Pacific Rim etc.

Actor Jeremy Renner shot to fame with his role as the bow wielding Hawkeye from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He says he enjoys every moment of suiting up and essaying the mighty hero and feels blessed to play "make-believe" for a living.
He first got his full fledged role in Marvel films with "The Avengers" in 2012 and went on to play Hawkeye in movies, including "Avengers: Age of Ultron". "I like every moment (of playing Hawkeye). I feel blessed to be able to play make-believe for a living. It's my job. "I just saw it and it bothered me. I felt glad that I wasn't in it. All the people turned into dust. That's terrible. I am so glad that I was on vacation," he quipped.
The "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" actor also recalled the moment when he was cast as Hawkeye and the fear he had before joining MCU.
"I think it is just our lack of information or knowledge or ignorance towards certain event or thing makes us fearful. When it comes to MCU, initially I thought 'I don't know if I ever want to be a 50 year old in tights'. I remember that being a fear for me.
"I was finishing 'The Hurt Locker' and I was like.... 'I don't want to be in this costume when I am older. I am not sure how I'll be looking in tights'. So to address that fear.... I guess I just had to keep trying on costumes and keep working out," shared the 48 year old.
