Just pa ssing away or by, Can you still hear the thunder as he blew j. Akkerman off the stage in countdowncafe in Rotterdam, spider around it's necklace 😮😊❤❤great songs with humour and fun, and his artwork is really amazing hospitality ❤❤❤🤗
Absolutely loved this non Who version of John's "My Wife." But the video says it was performed in 1973. John just turned 30 at the time. He appears to be older than 30 in this video.
Has anyone noticed that their voices change over time. This recording was two years after Who's Next album and his voice sounds like the record. Later version do not.
An early 70's model that even lights up. There are very few originals left in the world. I believe the one in this video was auctioned off for around 50,000 pounds
At first glimpse (I saw this on TV during the live telecast back in the early summer of 1973) I actually thought that it was Peter Frampton on the drums.
John, Jack Bruce, Andy Fraser, Geezer Butler and Chris Squire we were blessed with bass gods in a golden era of British rock music.
John died 22 years ago, Today. I miss him. Best Rock Bass player. 2nd isn’t even close! RIP OX 🙏

Second-best. You know who #1 is.
My sympathies. Best musician in my book. Let your best memories give you comfort.
Love his voice. Wish he took the lead on more tracks.
I know what you mean.
My random strange and best musical moment of the day. John was one of the bass playing greats.
Still water runs deep. Truly a legend. My favorite song from a Great album
I believe the correct line up of his backing band here is
Tony Ashton - keyboards.
Eddie Jones - guitar.
Graham Deakin - drums.
One of my favorite Who songs!
I miss the Keith Moon fills here after 'gonna buy a fast car, put on my lead boots long, long, drive'.
That light show bass ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bass playing genius. RIP
This song came out on my 8th birthday.
“All I did was have a bit too much to drink”
Drums: Graham Deakin, Keys: Tony Ashton, J Ent (Ox), Guitar: Eddie Jones.
My favorite Who song! This video is epic!
Abe Union pride by far one of the best bass players seen them 30 times r.i.p.

Those who came from working-class backgrounds often looked OLDER, comparative to # of years lived, than they do now.
28 - born October 9th 1944.
Superb 👌🏻
O melhor de todos os tempos
Brilliant 🤩
Great song.
Brilliant!
Beautiful work!
Brian Johnson on Keys , WOW
And Malcom Young on drums!
@@Austin7298I thought that same thing! But wasn't John's talent shining here. Not only the beast of the bass, but songwriter and front man!
@@Austin7298I thought that same thing! Wasn't John's talent shining bright here? Not only a beast on the bass but a songwriter and front man?
No. That's not Brian Johnson. I believe it's Tony Ashton, who later went on to be in Paice, Ashton, Lord.
LIP SYNCED..BUT IS THE BEST SONG ON WHO'S NEXT.
J.E..difficult to any body better on the Bass,I never knew he had pipes.
He’s Boris the spider! 😄

Cocaine
Is that Brian Johnson of AC/DC on keyboards?😂
God bless him,apparently it is.
@@BarryHart-xo1oy Tony Ashton on Keys
Ex Family and Ashton Gardner & Dyke. Fantastic keyboard player, but loved the high life a bit too much.
What Rickenbacker is that? It is totally awesome!! I want one!
A very rare (supposedly anywhere from only 3 to 5 were made) Rickenbacker 4005 Lightshow Bass
@@JNDGuitarmanthank you for the answer. I'm a Rick fan for sure but I clearly don't know all about them.
need KM's drums.....none one can replace PT's guitar
What The Who song am I hearing embedded in this?
😻
Who is the Black dude on guitar? Who's on drums and keys?
@papaskinfreakprojects307 : Showin' off, on guitar ... undoubtedly : Eddie Jones ( "Mr.Guitar" ) ... It's all I know !!! Cheers from Rio !!!

Who is that singing?
John Entwistle.
Ringo Starr
@@akilmer Thought so. Thanks.
@glenncambray9783 it's John Entwistle.
When she catches me oh no .
Is that Buddy Rich on drums?
No, Gene Krupa.
is that zak starkey on drums?
No.its not Zac playing drums with John's band. If this video is truly from 1973 like it states then Zac would have been a whooping 9 years old.
They're miming. This is very obviously a studio recording.
No shit
At least they ran cords to the guitars.
Love the song… the piano does not work with it though.
Good sound. Pity it's not in sync
Is that Keith Moon on drums?
Direct from The Who - Brian Johnson (pre-AC/DC) on keys, Eddie Jones, guitar and Graham Deakin on drums.
@@egnbigdaveThat isn’t Brian. Unless your joking and I’m missing the point again
@@PulseXP-yo8wu It was in fact Tony Ashton I believe.
@@egnbigdave Yes

Is that Kenny Jones on drums?
Kenney, with an extra *e* .
No, it's not Kenney.
Lipped sync.
lip Synch?
Is that Will Ferrell on drums?
Mrs. Ferrell
