Probably the most stacked one with features, and way better than almost every game 2k made before and after. The attention to every detail and the hard work the devs put into the game was worth it and clearly showed.
No, it doesn't even have right stick dribbling, doesn't have rec, crew was a joke, no park etc... I own every 2k since 2k on dreamcast, some of you guys are bugging. Can't put any 2k that didn't have right stick dribbling in the conversation for best. 2k14 and 2k16 have been the best and it isn't close.
They need to make the career mode on PS5 like it was back in the 2k11 era. I loved having control over how my career played out. Being able to interview with teams, D-League (G-League), being able to have your play affect your draft stock, post game interviews where if you said the wrong things the announcers would mention it and you would get booed by the fans. If they made it like this for the next generation, while adding more to it, like picking an agent, being able to play in college, and bring the full combine, we have a dope career mode. They need to cut the fixed storylines with the movie-like cutscenes. Give us the option to make our career actually (MY)Career
Definitely agree give us more control of our career it's my career Right? Then let us make our own path and decision right or wrong stop this scripted linear story
Back when shots meter wasn't broken, making shots was a beautiful thing, spacing on the floors one of the best ever, create amazing and fluid plays, no shitty VC, basically NBA 2K11 was all about basketball and why we love so much. Nostalgic. Just look at this animation and some slight realistic physics on that dunk 3:32 - 3:35... man, just someone please give us a remastered version and that's it.
Mr And your point is hell nba 2k11 is a million times better than 2k18, 2k19, and 2k20 combined the major difference is 2k11 no pay to win you have too grind your way to be better and the Jordan mode nowadays it’s just mycareer, Park, all three games are incomplete, and pay to win
My most memorable 2k. The MyCareer was simplistic but the progress to get from low 40s to 99 felt worthwhile. I remember when I had an open dunk in the fast break but I bricked it. Then I got a higher dunk attribute and bam, 2k11 got even more sick.
Bruh you gotta go check out 2k12s intro if you think 11 is the best. It's hard, but 12 has so much culture and respect and expresses the beauty of the game of basketball
In my opinion 2k11 is easily the best game of the series. Stunning gameplay, franchise mode multiplayer on one console ( so much fun), epic intro, brilliant soundtrack, no focus on stupid online features like parks, no vc bullshit.... It was just a really good game
2k11 was the best 2k for sure! I miss the Jordan Moments and that one mode where you could choose any NBA player and finish playing out his career ..I wish they'd bring that feature back
2k11 was my fav 2k of all time with 2k5 and 2k9 being next in line. 2k13 was pretty good too but 2k11 was my go to. NBA 07 the life vol 2 was also one of my favs (mainly because Kobe was on the cover lol). My fav thing on 2k11 was doing the seasons, managing trades etc.
My Mom Says I'm a Champion it’s crazy when a keyboard tough guy opens his mouth when they don’t in the real world. The point is no one talks about it or maybe the fact that it was created almost a decade ago on a different platform.
Indeed this is my favorite and arguably still the best in the 2K franchise. Yes, the 2K's that came afterward also featured Jordan as well as many other classic teams and players but nothing will beat the memories and excitement of playing with the classics back when they were new and that's 2K11.
This is the game where 2k really separated themselves for basketball games to me. The Jordan Challenge is still so hard to beat today. Like they should’ve did that challenge for Kobe.
My favorite things about 2k11: Soundtrack - all the songs were diverse and they had songs about you getting better and being a competitor MyCareer - simple and about nothing but basketball and life in the NBA Unlocking Jordans - you play, and unlock retros that have stat boosts Just some of my fav things
This and 2k16 will forever be legendary in the 2k community!! Such a shame that the games afterwards went downhill so quickly! Excellent work on bringing the memories back!! Road to 100k Fam!
The memories man...2k11 was so good I've been a gamer since 5 yrs old and I never would've thought a franchise would get worse every year it releases I hate 2k now
2k11 is the 🐐 not to mention it features the 🐐 PERFECT MATCH! I think it’s the best basketball game of ALL TIME from the soundtrack to CREW MODE!!! So many great memories no VC!!!! DemiGods In crew but who didn’t have them lol and talking about it today brings back so many good times!
My favorite memory of 2k11 is playing myleague online or whatever it was called back then. We would have tournaments with a draft to select your roster. It felt like fantasy basketball except we got to actually play the games. The gameplay felt smooth, although there were definitely some classic exploits. I would love to play it again some day.
Fifa 09 and NBA 2k11 simply the best sports videogames ever. I remember having so much fun with this game, and specially getting 121 points with my player on my career playing for the Lakers and against the Raptors none the less haha
I remember that narrator in my career I use to hate him because of the way he criticized you after every game but it was constructive criticism that shows you that 2k was the truth in that era
One minor detail as well, the crowds in 2k11 are way more animated, moving through aisles, going up and down the stairs, food vendors, different people cheering at different times. These days the crowd are an Orwellian zombie, rising together and sitting together.
These new nba games are driving me crazy I thought the title said nba 2k21 and I seen all the comments saying it’s the best and their favourite and I was about to fade from existence😭
@Phantuums I would really like you to cover 2K17 and here's my reason why: At the time of it's release EVERYONE had problems with the game, now of course there were others who loved it but the majority of the community seemed to not like the game at the time and I think alot of people forget that. I want you to cover it to hear your opinion on why you think, while at the time it wasn't that good of game, why is it so appreciated and loved now.
I’ve recently went back and have been playing this game… all I know, is if I leave the man I’m defending to go double someone or do anything really to move away from the player I’m supposed to guard and giving them floor space, the ai will dish it to that player for an easy basket every single time. The ai actually has a really good basketball iq, better than a lot of games I have experienced.
That said, it was the only 2K that had the correct coaches for the legendary teams....it's just NOT THE SAME without classic Phil Jackson, Rick Adleman, Jerry Sloan, etc!!
Let’s be honest no one includes that nba live had dominated the years before and that this was a generational game changing the atmosphere related to even playing a 2k game. Madden ruled so it was a bias choice to avoid the 2k series at that time.
2k16 still my favorite amazing speed to the game as well as awesome dribbling I loved my team as well as my career and I think it was the most complete 2K with all the different parks you could play in
Do you consider this the best 2K of ALL TIME?
Absolutely this was the 1st 2k i played religiously shit was amazing
Greatest 2k game ever and greatest intro
After15 for me
Probably the most stacked one with features, and way better than almost every game 2k made before and after. The attention to every detail and the hard work the devs put into the game was worth it and clearly showed.

2K11 was great bring back MJ, way better than 2K20
Yeah because no one can afford 2k20
They probably would have if they knew “the last dance” was coming out
Jordan would not want to be associated with that poor excuse of a game.
Your just broke
I remember if star players were out they would wear suits on the sideline like irl the little details help
Need that back!
now they sit there in full uniform w they arms folded🥴
2k11 is my favorite 2k of all time. 2k13 had my favorite controls of all time
2k13 controls were definitely goat. spin layups and all that were so easy to do
Me too
@Yede Beat Productions that leaning layup cheese
2k13 could do every shot with deadeye cheese animation spin fadeaways 3s stepbacks you name it
2K11 brings back so many memories especially with the features

Can 2k a least do a remastered version on NBA 2k11 next year it’s literally the best 2k basketball game in 2k history
Update the roster and it would be the greatest that gameplay with the current graphics!

im afraid of thew remaster, cause they'll find a way to include myteam and vc into the game
i played this game for 4 years when 2k14 was out i was still playing this shit this game is the best 1 hands down
Marquan Pittman same 😂
Ohh the nostalgia of this video 😭😭😭😭

@@imjfritz1 Nah 14 had the best intro in my opinion

It was complete all around but then 9 years later, we got the most broken all around.
*How* *times* *changed*
What i miss about the last gen 2ks is the sound of the rim and net those sounds were so satisfying
Facts bro
I loved the one that sounded like bzinnnng
Nba 2k13
this is the last 2k i feel like they put their all into
Than your tripping..13,14 and 16 don't exist anymore 🤔
Yup that's because they were competing with nba live back then
@@simplyjay0748 16 is fucking ass. People boost that game
@@theemptylot982 nah bro
@@caydenrgarrett only thing good about 16 was park. Other than that my career was ass and nothing really made it stand out from the good 2k’s.
Always loved the way the ball went in the hoop so smooth in older 2k games. Now when you shoot the ball it bounces off the rim unnaturally.
Derrick Rose was unstoppable !!
2k11 is the GOAT. I remember playing that nonstop in 8th grade
My favourite 2K of all time is NBA 2K10 on the PS3 because the graphics are CLEAN and the animations were crazy too
The peak of the decade, and the cliff that 2K stood on before diving straight off.
Intro Gives Me Chills.. Best 2K Intro Of All Time🔥🔥🔥
In my opinion 2k11 is easily the best game of the series. Stunning gameplay, franchise mode multiplayer on one console ( so much fun), epic intro, brilliant soundtrack, no focus on stupid online features like parks, no vc bullshit.... It was just a really good game

2k11 was the best 2k for sure! I miss the Jordan Moments and that one mode where you could choose any NBA player and finish playing out his career ..I wish they'd bring that feature back
Didn’t have rignt stick dribbling so it’s immediately an ass game lol. Low IQ scrub

“They’re playing basketballlllllll , we love that basketballllll” 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Smooth game play fast breaks were real and posting up into dribble was 🔥
You know what’s crazy is I’ve been saying this for years. It’s always been my favorite

7 minutes isnt long enough for this masterpiece!

The good ole days of 2k just popping the disc in console an just playing didn't have to worry about downloading a patch
I can still remember the 2k insiders voice... iconic

According to Google this is the best 2K NBA game with 95% of people liking it

After almost any Bulls game in 2011 I would go instantly to situation mode and see how it plays out as it did in whatever game I had just watched lol
As someone who uses the shot stick 2k11 really let you perfect the time release with it. Now its more about percentages and less about timing
And the cool thing is that they added a remastered version to this game. Also in the remastered version the rosters are updated
They really need to turn the 16 servers on , one of the best 2Ks I’ve played , sure there were Cheesers but you had fun playing that game

It also had one of the best game modes of all time,Create a legend.
So glad I got this 2K in its prime
I just wish we could have a basketball game like this one today. Where you didn’t have to pay to enjoy the only game modes they update yearly.
Situation mode made me relive Kobe's buzzer beater on D-wade...
Imagine 2k11 and 2k16 gameplay and Jordan mode or Lebron mode and more parks. Greatest 2k ever
