I hope she can see that when she was gone from the show, a huge amount of the soul of the show left with her. No wonder Will was afraid of her. His immaturity in thinking she was a threat to him kept him from realizing the truth which is, her talent and vivacity actually brought them all up. I’m so glad she’s okay because a weaker woman might not have been. What a role model for women. I stan.
I know she’s speaking the truth on how things went down, but I was one of the few people who didn’t give a dang what she did or didn’t do! I wanted her to be Aunt Viv...period!!!
I never knew what happened til now, and it breaks my heart and makes me view Will Smith in a different light. I feel deeply disappointed in the situation and devastated about what happened to Janet. She was the BEST Vivian. I didn't care for the second one. The older I get, the more I learn, and the more my feelings change about Will. When I was in elementary school, I crushed on him so hard that I wanted to marry him. My crush didn't end until my freshman year of college. The Will I've seen in recent years just changed my mind about him even as a favorite actor.
Thank you so much, my favorite Aunt Viv!! You are still so absolutely gorgeous and I could honestly listen to you speak all day. Thank you for what you said about your son and homeschooling while you are disabled. I am forging ahead in the same situation and was encouraged by all that you shared.
We are watching this show right now and this breaks my heart for her. She is so beautiful and so talented and has a GOOD forgiving heart. I wish more people had a heart like that. I'm happy Will has matured and can apologize for what I feel he didn't fully comprehend at that time.
I am proud of her. What an inspiration and role model. She overcame so much adversity and she is still standing tall. She was the best aunt Viv. Period! I don't look at will Smith in the same way I did and I don't believe his youth should be used as an excuse for his behavior. It is unforgivable what he did to her.

I like Janet Hubert as Aunt Vivian, nothing personal about Tim Reid's wife but Janet is better as the finished product.
Wait time reids wife?? I love him😊
@@debramandigo7790 Yes. The other Aunt Viv is Tim Reid's wife.
@@soyveritas8262 , I didn't know that.
Wow, she is a profoundly resilient woman. 💜 Still utterly regal and admirable.
This is an incredible strong beautiful woman! I always wondered what happened with her career, her presence was strong and she is a gorgeous woman. I wish her well, I wish her health and prosperity in the future, she is real, down to earth and a wonderful person.
The dance. THE. DANCE. WAS THE BEST MOMENT ON TELEVISION. E.V.E.R.!!!!! You know she is only ten years older than her Karyn Parsons who played Hilary?
They knew she would a great Aunt Viv as she was but replacing her took so much from the show! Will wasn't all that in the first season he needed surrounded by professionals and it showed.
U mean hilarious 😂 😂 😂
When Aunt Viv decided to audition for The Dance Troupe and turned it out is my absolute favorite Fresh Prince!! I've always admired dancers bodies. Hers was so sleek. She looks good now 😀
She was exceptionally talented - as talented as Will Smith himself. She should have been a huge star and it’s terribly sad that she was treated the way she was.
I agree. It was epic. And she is still that lady. I love her. She is like me. I don’t take no SHIZA either and it is the best revenge. She is 65 wow, she looks so young and still beautiful.
JANET IS BEAUTIFUL! My favorite ❤❤❤❤❤
Great interviewer!! Janet Hubert is so intelligent and beautiful. Royalty!
I wish the interview just kept going but I'm thankful that it wasn't a short rushed type of interview. This was great. Thank you to both ladies. You are both so beautiful and talented. Amazing all the way around. Such a thought provoking interview. I grew and healed from this. Thank you both.
I stopped watching after she left. She added so much to that role that Mrs. Reid couldn't, like soul, spunk, wit and attitude! Love her and would love to see her on a series again!👁
Wow you stop watching after she left you missed out on a lot of funny episodes it was still funny without her I'm sure everybody else would agree I never heard one person complain that the show wasn't great which means you made the wrong choice good night😂😂😂
detrell, you can't speak for EVERYBODY! It was MY choice to stop watching the show and what I said is MY opinion ! BYE
@@specialk7903 😭😭
I could listen to Janet talk for hours and hours. She really is the only Aunt Viv. Love her!
She truly is beautiful
Can't believe Janet had gone through this hell?! - beautiful dignified black woman. Pray life will finally give her just rewards. 65 gurl?!! Jeeez you're beautiful not a day over 21 year old serious. Love you 🥰🥰
I love this and her beautiful smile. Through it all she still smile. ❤❤❤
Thank you ☺️ for this great interview!!!! ALL fans need this ❤️❤️❤️
Always loved Mother Janet Hubert. I am so sorry this happened. Extremely happy you are healing. You are beautiful. Just flawless.
I just want to hug Janet and apologize ! I'm so hurt for her,her flowers were stolen she was hurt and devastated! And she is so very graceful in explaining the negativity she experienced. I'm so glad that she got a PUBLIC reconciliation and apology
I too preferred this Viv as well. She is very refined, regal, cultured, and talented.
I stan.
Is it me or black rrreeaally doesn’t crack? Janet looks amazing. That melanin ❤️😎
Like Janet said. It doesnt crack but it bends to left.
Well Janet, no offense to the other woman, but this woman LOVED YOU SO MUCH on that show. Part of my childhood. I hope to watch you again
Thank both of you for sharing this interview. Ms. Janet...I pray that God will redeem the time for you...and that the best is still yet to come!
Aww, that was Beautiful
I know she’s speaking the truth on how things went down, but I was one of the few people who didn’t give a dang what she did or didn’t do! I wanted her to be Aunt Viv...period!!!
Same!
Same here
I never knew what happened til now, and it breaks my heart and makes me view Will Smith in a different light.
She's absolutely BEAUTIFUL ❣️
Love the interviewer ! Very respectful and humble 🙏👍💓
We are watching this show right now and this breaks my heart for her. She is so beautiful and so talented and has a GOOD forgiving heart. I wish more people had a heart like that. I'm happy Will has matured and can apologize for what I feel he didn't fully comprehend at that time.
Definition of a strong black women!! LOVE OG AUNT VIV!
Huge fan of your work on the show; I'm so sorry that you went through all of that pain and struggle.
According to the whole cast and crew, she was difficult to work with. Carlton can’t stand her, he left when she showed up at the reunion
My favorite Aunt Viv I’m so happy she survived that cruelty and never gave up! I always believed her and pray things continue to get better for her🙏🏽
Will is the man that step up to the plate. The reunion was heart felt and the love that I witnessed from both Will and the cast. She's beautiful inside and outside and looks dam good for her age.
GREAT INTERVIEW 🏆🏆🏆. I’ve always loved her on the show. She brought poise, class, beauty and professionalism to that character. I refuse to believe anything negative. My prayers and thoughts are with her during her fighting for her life in the hospital.🙏🏽🙌🏾 Thank you for uploading this video ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It breaks my heart to hear everything she went through. It’s a tragedy what happened to her career.
Thank you for such a thorough and professional interview. Loved it.
I'm very thankful to God this has been resolved
F dat.
He needta PAY her
I'm the same age as Will and I had no idea about what happened after your departure from the show. You've kept your head up and kept moving forward and I want to thank you cause many others committed suicide or in a nut house but you held on and kept goin.i thank you for your strength and to even let all here your past and present and how encouraging u are
She still looks amazing
Janet Hubert: Beautiful, Amazing BLACK Queen. I was so sorry when Aunt Viv left the show. I saw the interview with she and Will Smith ... I was in tears. Very sad to hear what happened to her, and I pray for the success of Janet's new ventures.🙏 Thank you so much for sharing.🌹
She's such a talented actress. I hope to see her in more roles.
I was so proud to see a Black Woman who looked like me.When they replaced you I know longer saw me, why didn't they replace you with someone of the same color? I face colorism all the time it seems my shade of Blackness isn't allowed to have an opinion or speak up. They gave Will that position because they were cowards they knew he was too immature to make those types of decisions
My thoughts exactly!
True forgiveness and love is beautiful. God is love and conquers all. Hallelujah for healing
Oh what a beautiful story, even though she has gone through so much! I was such a fan when she was on the show. It was never the same when she left. Still gorgeous as ever! What an amazingly regal Woman! I wish you the best and 65 where???? ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙌🏽
She’s extremely talented and accomplished. It’s great they cleared the air. Forgiveness is always possible. One of my favorite episodes was the one where Aunt Viv teaches black history to Will and Carlton’s class. I remember when the school principal was asking who would be qualified to teach that subject matter. And she said: “You’re looking at her.”
She looks the same!! Not many women can go from there 30s into there 60s looking the same!!! God bless you Janet
Black women can.
Yeah she looks fabulous
It is so great to see greatness at its finest! Thank you Janet Hubert 😘. I have truly missed you.
I appreciate the fact that Will made peace with her. It takes a big man (void of ego) to make that move. I respect that.
So glad they told their story, and all is well.
I loved her on the show and never knew what happened to her. You are a powerhouse, God bless you with good health and with abundance love, joy and peace.
I would love to see her on the screen again.
Janet, you are as gorgeous and eloquent as always!!! Aging gracefully!! Always good to see you, wishing you peace, love and prosperity, in all that you do.
