I love to do that too! I have been doing it for years and it’s now the only way I do it. For the TN and even my 12x12 layouts. I have an EPSON PM 400. I use the sticker paper that is an 8.5x11 so you can use any size journal box. I do use the 5x7 page size since I sometimes need it bigger for the 12x12 layouts.n. I am a MAC user so I am making journaling boxes in Pages. I change the size of the journaling box sizes all the time. Love this!

I am having trouble getting the text inside the shape (on Pages). The only way I get the keyboard to come up is when it types around the shape.
Make sure to double tap in the box to be able to add the text.

Make sure you have your printer setting on Glossy photo paper. Don’t switch it to regular paper it will smear.
