I remember the 1st time watching this and I felt this overwhelming sense of being proud of the Doctor for being more Doctorly than ever before with this speech. He solved the issue with words and it was magnificent. Even more impressive to know it was all done in one take.
As for the politics, I don't know how bad it has gotten there, but there are people here on the far right that are just completely divorced from reality and have even begun to say the quiet parts out loud at the type of authoritarian crazy train they want us all to ride on, and it is terrifying. I wish I knew how to wake people up. Every now and again I see stories of people breaking free from the lies, so there is hope. I guess hold onto that. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

I still say that browser history has Caravan stuff on it.😂
'Big Bang Theory' comedy mentioned Doctor spends a lot of time in London - 'getting shot at' is arguably the response.
Sullivan gas - you met companion Harry Sullivan during your Genesis watch - he almost got his leg caught in the clam?

@@richardvinsen2385 Hi Richard, I'm Nicole's moderator. Nicole considers *anything* in the future to be a spoiler, including hints. One reason is that if several different people hint in different ways about something, reading all those comments can together reveal what happens even if each individual comment wasn't enough by itself to reveal anything. She really does want to know *nothing* ahead of the current episode.

I think that it's a terrible thing that politics are taboo...
To be uncomfortable talking about politics is in itself a conservative perspective, and therefore political.
To avoid such topics is polite and therefore liberal.

I know what is happening in the world, I know the secrets, I know how it works, who is to blame, why all this is happening.
      But I won't tell.
Politics is a dirty business, they don’t talk about it because it can easily antagonize people, that’s why they don’t talk about it. Smart people from above will decide for themselves what to do and how to do it, and you don’t interfere.
In any case, this channel is for a pleasant viewing of Doctor Who :) And this is not the place for a scandalous conversation about this.
So let's continue to enjoy the show and continue to ignore the unpleasant topic.
