Pro tip: go in with stacks of logs and wool. Bring a crafting table and craft the beds as needed to not clog up your inventory

yeahh, i do the same. i usually make a mine with a chest or two and fill it up with beds so i can grab and go whenever i want to use a bed.

I fill up 5 shulker boxes with beds, then put the boxes in an Ender chest. Takes literally just one inventory spot until you need them 😀

I remember when I strip mined 45 minutes in the nether looking for netherite ore (which isn’t a thing) and I found ancient debris and dropped it . Then later I found it was useful so I took it up and got killed by lava

I entered the nether yesterday but my nether portal is underground in the nether. I dug some netherac to get to the surface. I found 3 pieces of ancient debris. But i can't mine it because there is lava above it and i was about to die. I don't have fire resistance portion.

I always use a different color to fill in when I found lava so that I can know if I ever have to go back, not to break that block. If you just use more Netherrack you're not going to remember that there's lava behind there
Fun fact: ancient debris is the only block that can be moved by a piston that is fully blast resistant
No netherite block can do that aswell

My friends and I were doing this last night in realm.
Only difference, and tip, is we were also creating a level two square wide path as we went. Makes traveling to and back a whole lot easier when traveling through the sections you've already blown.

RECOMMENDATION:
After you get a simple (or advanced) creeper/mob farm, or efficiency 5 DO NOT USE BEDS ANYMORE! If you have the mob farm, use tnt! tnt is the most efficient way of getting netherite. Unlike beds, it can have chain explosions, stack, and it is much safer. If you do not have a mob farm: Use an efficiency 5 pickaxe and mine at level 15 on a chunk border. It is more efficient than beds as well. Also make sure you have mending on your pick! You instamine netherack, so your pickaxe will lose durability fast!
Edit: I mined for an hour using tnt (making a ~100 block long tunnel and placing tnt on every other block), and I got about 80 ancient debris! With normal mining, I got about 30, and with beds, 25. The no chain reactions with beds is a HUGE downside, as well as all the fire, and the non stackableness

When you find any ore, you might want to mine around. Sometimes the spawn of good ores are in the same chunk :)

No, there can only be max 5 ancient debris in a chunk
@@tal9139 I’m pretty sure they’re saying if you find an ore like nether quartz or gold, you should start to mine around that because ancient debris may spawn around them. Other ores are allowed to spawn near ancient debris that are in the same chunk.

I always build a massive base in survival mode, then look at the space in it and don’t know what to do with all of it because I don’t even need that much room.

I recommend having a few fire resistant potions that last for 3 mins, trust me 3mins might not be much but it's useful for buying time if you fall in a lake of lava and there's land near by.
Very good idea to also extend the time with a piece of redstone after you’ve made the potion, +5 minutes for a single redstone is insane value

wattles is my favorite RUclipsr! Use a shield when using beds to mine with. The shield will protect both you and your armor from explosive damage!
Useful tip: bring fire protection potions with you it’s easier to fix the lava chunks

Me: To do bed mining, I should probably grab at least one armor piece with blast protection 4, and bring some fire resist potions as well. Maybe even consider moving my brewing stand and potion ingredients to a starter room

I too got 24 while searching, me and my friend each had 3 pieces of gears equipped. I did found another 8 a few days ago, finally we can have a full set of Netherite.

A tip from me for getting it which I find a TON safer! And more effective is try to get a diamond pick with Efficiency 4 or 5 and go on y11 or 12 and just clear out all the blocks on that level just going left to right holding down whatever your hit button is😁👍

That takes way more time and it’s just not efficient for mining in the nether. Lava is everywhere and why would you waste your diamond pick on netherack🥴

Fun fact: the bed is one of the worst ways to mine netherite/ancient debris because it causes fire making it easier to die and with TNT another explosive you can run away but for bed its an instant explosion making it more dangerous

what works for me (this is more of an end game option) make a lot of stacks of TNT, dig a straight line as long as you want, place tnt in the whole thing, light it up BOOM BOOM boom and usually there's a couple here and there. i got over a stack in under an hour.

i actually only used 32 beds and got 31 ancient debris with 5 of them being in 1 chunk like you said was lucky (i didnt know that!)
Just did this, having a shield helps a lot.
In Java edition shields dont help at all but in bedrock shields are super useful

I thought my world seed had the worst luck. That is, until I went hunting for ancient debris. In the first half hour I've found 14 and just now - the bed bomb revealed 5, dug out a bit and found 2 more! Literally 7 blocks of it within a 20x20 cube or so and I haven't even dug out the ore yet. I bet there's still more too :)

fun fact: bedrock players have a better chance of finding ancient debris that java players plus the best place to mine ancient debris in bedrock is Y 13

Why did I find this one damn day after farming for hours for it
Instead of how he sets up the bed explosion, you can place two blocks directly in front of the bed and still right click it and take less damage, another tip is the second you explode the bed, look down and spam left click to put out any fire under you before you land in it and start burning.

Tip, if you place a slab beneath you before you blow up the bed it prevents the block your standing on from being set on fire.

Since you are already in the nether, gather up some blaze rods, nether wart, and magma cream, and make potions of fire resistance. Add some Redstone dust at the end to up the duration. Lowers your chances of being cooked while bed mining.

Theres spmething that you missed to say actualy when you found accient debris mine the side of accient debris beacause theres hi percentage that acient debris will have some in their side i mined acient devris and i mine the side of i always get some in the side so when you found acient debris mind the sides.
Tip: go as far as you can from the bed but also until you can touch the bed, then place 2 blocks in front of you, and finally when you touch the bed run back a little there you won't take damage.

I managed to gather Ancient Debris using strip mining but I would definitely consider trying this one! Looks fun and easy
there's 1 more type of antient debris vein the legendary 4 because you need 4 to make 1netherite ingot
