A big Amen..thank you so much
The thumbnail brought me here, this is part of my life goal and I no dey carry belle till I can achieve it, it's actually my savings goal
Awwwhh congratulations MIMI! I am happy to learn about your birthing experience here. Having supportive caregivers is very necessary at the point of delivery. In short, at all points a patient interface with them at the hospital. I understand the feeling you expressed showing your child's passport because hhhmmm Nigeria passport, let me not say anything LOL
Nigeria passport has made see shege😂
@@Mimiojieh the costumer service job you were talking about, can I do it from Nigeria since it's a work from home job ma.
@@Flawlesbeauty2002 I guess you’re referring to another video but no you can’t. It’s work from home but you still need to be eligible to work in Canada with your SIN before you will be employed
My experience seems like yours too. I had just transitioned as an international student to PGWP and realized that the was pregnant, it was so tiring because my spouse is not in Canada but I had to work full time until 2weeks to my delivery, thankfully those hours that I worked enabled me to qualify for the EI benefits
😮 glory to God you made it😃
Wow
I totally enjoyed watching and it was quite informative.
Thank you so much❤️😘
My home girl is a strong woman. Well done Sis 😍

Aside from.the facts that you are beautiful
I love your videos and it's content
Good content you've dished out. Can a temporary resident (student permit or work permit) benefit from the maternity leave and monetary benefit from the government?
Congrats on your newborn
Thank you very much 😍
Nice sharing sis , the details before , during and after giving birth, how you apply for your child birth certificate and the passport came out after 2 weeks it’s so cool . I enjoy evrything ❤

Is the hospital free for all? I mean plus people on work permit, students, or it’s majorly free for citizens and PR?
Congratulations on your new born
May God bless her
My baby is 3years
Will she be allowed in to the daycare
God bless you Mimi. That's all I can say right now
Amen🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽thank you
Congrats girl ,all the way frm Germany .
Many many thanks😘😘
Nice content, how long will the mother take to have pr after giving birth to a Canadian incase the parents are on temporary visa or student visa😊
Congratulations mama 🎉 Saskatchewan Regina is so different ooo we have the room to ourselves 😂 also, the general hospital here did the birth certificate, HSN, SIN etc for me in the hospital so all we did was wait to get it in the mail at home. The nurses are just the best! New here would love to connect with you!
You guys are enjoying over there o😂. Here everything is so do it yourself 🤣
Hi Debby, mind if I ask you some questions? Planning to come give birth in Saskatchewan.

Thank you 🙏🏽
Hello...Im trying to find an OBGY in Scarborough...u have an recommendation?
Very helpful
🙏🏽😘
Please, how did you handle your first baby
Thank you so much for this video ❤️❤️ please one question: Did you need a someone to guarantee for you before you got your baby’s passport?. I hear that you need someone who has been a canadian citizen for 5 years to guarantee before one will be able to apply for the baby’s passport. Please can you verify?
Yes everyone needs a Canadian as a guarantor to sign the form when applying but the citizen does not have to be a citizen for 5years, Citizen is Citizen.
🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏yes❤
Love your well detail video, please i would like to ask guidance as i would like to relocate to Canada and have a baby there too but don't know how
Are you coming here as a permanent resident or as a student? I was only able to this because I’m a resident here.
Congratulations
Thank you so much
What if we are not traveling for now can I apply for the passport for my baby later on.? I already went to service Canada and they gave me the form. But I think I should just wait since we are not traveling soon
Hi Mimi, Good day if the child is born in Canada and becomes a citizen does that reflect to the Mother becoming a citizen too ?
Congratulations to you nne
Thank you so much ❤️
Congratulations,thank God for safe delivery.
Thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽😘😘
Congratulations honey❤
Hi Mimi
Kudos to you
But how come you didn’t pay anything please
Yes I went through the same thing giving birth in calgary but I didn’t have to share a room at all . I find those things weird too that the scan location is diff and I didn’t see my doc once I was referred to the gynaecologist till I had the baby
Congratulations🎉🎉. Same here I could not imagine sharing a room😂
@@Mimiojieh me either 😂
How much the pay?
Your videos are always helpful, keep it up!
Could you brief me about pregnant immigrants who want to come there purposely to deliver?
Thank you so much ❤️
Pls how many months was your pregnancy?
How did you move from dubai to Canada pls shear thanks
Students can have family doctor?
Congratulations to u, and thanks for the info. Pls i have a question, how long can one stay in Canada as an health worker before planing to have a child.
Thank you.
To be honest I don’t know…have never heard that there is a number of days/month healthcare workers needs to stay before having a baby. I’m really not sure frankly speaking.
Pls, I want to ask if a pregnant woman can come to visit his husband 8 months of pregnancy? Is that possible
Congratulations on your new born ..How old now is the new mth?
Thank you…3 and half month
What Hospital did you use mama ?
What if a student is pregnant and maybe still do job for few hours will they still be paying u dt money after u av giving birth?
This is my dream very soon, My baby will give me passport too 🙏
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wow congratulations ma'am , but please I have a question can someone with visitor's visa give birth in Canda and also get the passport for the newborn?
Every child born in canada becomes citizens and can get the passport. Coming with a visitors visa does not affect the child citizenship…however, you will have to pay for the hospital bill as government won’t be covering it for you.
Hi i need your help. I give birth to my baby in canada but i want to know how can i apply for my pr
Thank you. What happens when you move to canada after the 20 weeks pregnancy? Do i register with a family doctor still or just do the walk in for a gynecologist?
You still need a family doctor to access all the previous scan and test you’ve done, after that he/she will refer you to a gynecologist.
I work in obstetrics in a hospital here in Edmonton, every patient has to start with a a GP to get a referral to an OBGYN
Do you have to pay in Canada after birth?
Pls I need a care giver job n I dnt knw hw to start
Please can a 7 month pregnant woman locate to canada
Please how stressful can it be
I can relate o especially for someone that lives in Dubai before chaii habibi Nigeria 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Please how long after delivery can I apply for birth certificate. I’m coming to Canada to deliver and I wouldn’t want to spend so much time there. Because I’m traveling without my 1 year old
Already mentioned in the video
Curious you saod no one wpuld take a r months oldd ffor day care. So please at what age can children or babies be accepted for day care ?
Stating from one year old here in Alberta
I’m a big fan from dubai
Please can you tell me the kind of jobs I can do from home so I can start doing the courses online thanks 🙏
Thank you so much..there are two recent videos on my channel where I talked about work from home…pls check it out and let me know if you have specific question.
Hi Mimi. Your page is Godsent. We are 3 months in Alberta, going to be parents soon by the grace of God. Which hospital did you use.
Welcome to our beautiful province…please send a Dm on IG so I can message you privately.
@@Mimiojieh Done. Sent you a message on insta. Cheers
New subbie here🥰. Thank you for this update as this kind of resonates with my present situation. So I have a quick questn pls. Im 22 weeks gone at d moment and im hoping to birth my child In Canada ,NS to be precised. But i will be goin in as a work permit holder ,tho I have also been nomintated to apply for PR ,which im currently in d middle of applying. But u mentioned that the healthcare/delivery was free for u,asides the medication. Would you have an idea if the healthcare/delivery will be free for a work permit holder as well? ThNk you In advance❤
Thank you and welcome to my space😘💋. Yes it’s free but there might be different rules for different provinces. Read up here www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/foreign-workers/protected-rights.html#
Nawa ooo 4months old baby with another pregnancy...una dey try o
Congratulations 🎉. I know this is out of context but you mentioned you transitioning from healthcare admin to IT/Tech. I’m a doctor specialising at the moment but I want to relocate to Canada via study and plan to do healthcare admin cox I want to remain in the health sector but not clinicals. Please do you think it’s advisable to continue on this route? Does it have good job prospects after study? Please what would you advice?
I personally didn’t see admin roles here as something that I will be interested in plus the pay is low. Also, I opted for PM because of the possibility of having a full time remote/hybrid role. I understand that as a doctor that is trained outside of Canada, the process to practice here is tedious but you might want to give it a try or transition into something else that you love.
@@Mimiojieh Thank you so much for your sincere response🫶🏽. God bless you🙏🏾
@@ebiemchioma5192 You’re welcome…Amen🙏🏽😘
Do you have any idea how much it would cost to have your own private room? I just cannot share especially the wash room. Thanks
Depending on the hospital the one I used was charging about $130 (CAD) per night
@@Mimiojieh Thanks darling, not bad at all.
Really informative video, thank you. Please could you share the name of the hospital you gave birth? Finding hospitals with friendly staffs can be difficult, It would mean a lot if you could share the name of the hospital you used... Thank you
Pls DM on Instagram at Mimi_Ojieh
@@Mimiojieh Okay I will, thank you again.
U look very familiar, did you go to Regina Pacis(RP)
Lol no…maybe I have a twin I don’t know about 😂😁
My experience as an international student when I was pregnant Is different I used midwife because as an international student you cant have health card but your student insurance can cover it
Yes exactly but in Quebec here we initiate every expenses then asked the money to be given back. A whole roller coaster 🥲. Being a student we can’t have access to all opportunities
How did u go about it and how much did u spend?
Hi There: does the new born baby gets automatic government insurance?
There is no such thing as government insurance or what do you mean ?
@@Mimiojieh ok. I meant OHIP
@@deodatarjune357 oh that is Ontario and I honestly don’t know how it works there but over here in Alberta you will get it.
Hi Mimi, I’m coming to Alberta to have my baby in 3 months. Do you mind sharing the name of the hospital you had your baby please?
Pls send me a message on Instagram @ Mimi_Ojieh
Hello ma’am, to apply for citizenship for a baby born in Canada, does the parents needs to be citizens of Canada already
Every child born in Canada is a citizen regardless of the parents nationality
@@Mimiojieh okay that means it’s automatically like in the USA?
Congrats on your child Canadian citizenship and birth.
I want to ask a question. Are you eligible to apply for Canadian passport through your child. Hence, the child is now a passport holder.
I don’t understand the question…can you rephrase pls.
@MIMI OJIEH Hello, i meant are you automatically qualified to apply for Canadian citizenship through your child.
