Sir please Help.. I havea lenovo laptop with 2 gb amd gpu.. Now when in install amd driver the windows gets stuck during installing amd display drivers ...please help
First of all, you need to download the AMD display driver from Lenovo's official support website (pcsupport.lenovo.com/in/en/) and then follow the instructions as described in the video.
It seems that your laptop is overheating probably due to insufficient cooling! Try using a cooling pad or just move to a cooler place during installation. You know accumulation of dust, dirt, and lint on GPU is one of the most common potential reason for overheating. 🙂 And also make sure to disable onboard graphics (intel integrated graphics accelerator) during installation and while using Radeon.
I have Intel HD 4600 and AMD Radeon HD 8790M. I was trying to install Adrenaline 21.5.1 on my laptop. My system froze afterwards, even though I uninstalled drivers in safe mode. I ended up reinstalling Windows 2 times. I'll stick to the older version for now.
After using amd cleanup utility in safe mode when you reboot and try to check device manger for adapters only integrated intel graphics shows up , no as such mircosoft or Amd adapter shows up for dedicated graphics card update
After using the Cleanup Utility, will it still work okay if I stay on safe mode? I am doing this because there is something wrong with my graphics card that is preventing it from using normal mode
Just reboot your PC back to normal mode after running the cleanup utility. Your PC should boot fine, unless you've encountered an error while using the utility.
@@fleetsbay I am unable to boot to windows. It would show the loading splash screen but after that it will just show nothing. I am currently dual-booting Ubuntu on CPU integrated graphics. Do you have any solutions?
@@fxhdtchjfrytjyj Try restoring your computer from "advanced startup options", now if that does not work out then you would unfortunately be left with "clean installation" as only viable solution.
Your Graphic card is probably one of the 3 cards in HD 7700M series. According to VBIOS info UEFI is not supported in HD 7770M while VBIOS Info of other two cards are unknown so they must be integrated in Laptop BIOS.
A graphics card does not have to be UEFI-compliant in order to work in a motherboard that supports UEFI. In fact, UEFI is designed to be device-independent, not relying on certain support in hardware.

@@lnstagrarm Just try *updating your BIOS* and see if it fixes the issues. I recommend you to take a complete backup of your pc and create a restore point before updating BIOS. Additionally, try the following steps: Run *CMD in Admin mode* and type the following: 1. *CHKDSK /R* ( You must restart the computer after this ) 2. *DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth* . If this command finds anything to report then run *DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth* to clean things up. 3. *SFC /SCANNOW* You know, there are numerous potential causes that trigger this error which may include: 1. Corrupt system files 2. Incompatible device drivers 3. Faulty hardware 4. Damaged or incomplete software installation
@@fleetsbay hi sir.. Let me tell you what worked for me.. I then flashed windows 10 1703.. The version came with my laptop when I purchased.. Then i tried everything without updating laptop... But same bsod error.. Then i remember in ur video u combined manufacturer amd driver and new version of AMD driver.. It means to run drivers without error we need to install first manufacturer driver.. And i gone ahead and searched in hp website.. But due to my graphic card is hybrid so there were intel/amd switchable graphic drivers.. It means they provide combined driver together.. But i needed only amd.. And for that I let update my windows till it download manufacturer driver automatically.. When it installed.. Then i checked opening amd software by right clicking on desktop.. And it successfully opened.. But there were black screen and freezing issue... Then i downloaded amd official driver but 2020 version . And now laptop is working but issue is whenever I open software that requires admin permission it crashes.... Then i downloaded updated one.. But it was not working as my windows was not updated... So then I updated it and installed updated one.. And now laptop is working very well.. So lesson i learned here is.. Amd do not includ previous version of the driver in new update.. So to run driver without error.. We need manufacturer driver as a base.. On that when we installs official amd driver it will work fine.. So if anyone wants to run laptop fast.. You will need to get manufacturer driver first then put amd official driver.. Without manufacturer driver. It will give bsod and screen freez or black screen

Thanks 👍😌
Keep going on 👍

I tried updating likee u said but during installation my laptop shutdown itself ..i have inspiron 15r 5521 same gpu like urs..plz help
It seems that your laptop is overheating probably due to insufficient cooling! Try using a cooling pad or just move to a cooler place during installation. You know accumulation of dust, dirt, and lint on GPU is one of the most common potential reason for overheating. 🙂
And also make sure to disable onboard graphics (intel integrated graphics accelerator) during installation and while using Radeon.

After using amd cleanup utility in safe mode when you reboot and try to check device manger for adapters only integrated intel graphics shows up , no as such mircosoft or Amd adapter shows up for dedicated graphics card update
Download the "AMD Driver Auto-detect tool" and check if it can automatically detect the Graphics Chipset. BTW What brand is your computer?
After using the Cleanup Utility, will it still work okay if I stay on safe mode? I am doing this because there is something wrong with my graphics card that is preventing it from using normal mode
Just reboot your PC back to normal mode after running the cleanup utility. Your PC should boot fine, unless you've encountered an error while using the utility.

@@fleetsbay Ok, thanks for the help.
Can i install Radeon software adrenaline hd 7700m in uefi mode ?
Your Graphic card is probably one of the 3 cards in HD 7700M series.
According to VBIOS info UEFI is not supported in HD 7770M while VBIOS Info of other two cards are unknown so they must be integrated in Laptop BIOS.
A graphics card does not have to be UEFI-compliant in order to work in a motherboard that supports UEFI. In fact, UEFI is designed to be device-independent, not relying on certain support in hardware.
You mean Software only works with motherboard not with boot options
???
I follow all the steps but when I searched my screen went black and said no hdmi available
Try physically reseating your Graphic card if you're on desktop or Maybe you should contact customer service instead.

Please can u help me it will be very nice if u help me.. If you want I can chat u on insta.. Please sir it's humble request from my end..
@@lnstagrarm Just try *updating your BIOS* and see if it fixes the issues.
I recommend you to take a complete backup of your pc and create a restore point before updating BIOS.
Additionally, try the following steps:
Run *CMD in Admin mode* and type the following:
1. *CHKDSK /R* ( You must restart the computer after this )
2. *DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth* . If this command finds anything to report then run *DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth* to clean things up.
3. *SFC /SCANNOW*
You know, there are numerous potential causes that trigger this error which may include:
1. Corrupt system files
2. Incompatible device drivers
3. Faulty hardware
4. Damaged or incomplete software installation
@@lnstagrarm You may have to perform a *clean install* if none of the above steps works out for you.
