It's my theory that they wanted to do a switch where Mae and Osha represent the opposite sides of the Force to which they were originally trained (Osha is the Light side of the vergeance, Mae is the Dark), and the first arc was ultimately about those two ending up with teahers that would bring out their abilities properly in the next season. But because they didn't want either twin to look like a bad guy while having both commit murder, that was completely garbled in the final product.
@@mercaius exactly! I think this is what they wanted to or should’ve done. This show was ultimately full of so many choices that if tweaked a bit, could’ve made the show decent or even just coherent but yeah that somehow wanted us to feel sympathy towards the “villains” without changing anything about what makes them villains. Very garbled indeed
I feel like it’s too early in the timeline for them to be showing the Jedi as flawed, at this point they’re suppose to be living in a time of peace and the peak of the Jedi, when they were the straight up good guys It’s not until the prequels where they’ve become so overconfident in the 1000’s years of peace that they’ve become full of ego etc
@@dylanburton4955 couldn’t agree with you more! If this took place a little later it would tie in a little better, tying in with the hubris of the Jedi. But instead, they wanted to make it seem like the Jedi were rotten the whole time, covering up things and being dishonest but just no one knew about it. I think it would be pretty disrespectful to the characters if Kiadi and Yoda both were aware of what was going on but decided to be apart of the cover up as well
@@jeremiahhall4083 dude that is my favorite, they couldn’t have used anything other than something so similar to real world devices? And what were they expecting to find with that stuff?

I love that they were looking for signs of the force with wood chippers and metal detectors.
