@truegamedata I’m surprised you didn’t include the raap-h in the lmg meta. I it lines up with the raal with an easier recoil pattern and fast fire rate. Forgiving to missed shots. Acts like the mg82 or finn back in wz1.
Man I really wish they added different reticles like MW2019/WZ1 had. I don't get why they took them out. They were a great addition as you could use a lot more variety of sights just because of the different reticles. Some reticles in the current sights are horrible.

Tony why wouldn't you use the Rapp H barrel on the lachmann 556? It adds 20% extra damage range and a ton of recoil control. Then you can take off the FTAC Ripper under grip
The Icarus has extremely close numbers to the Lachman and a faster ttk. Slower reload but much higher dpm. Is there a specific reason your not looking at it?
Mousing keyboard, I've been using the SO-14 for a while. I really like it on full auto too. But I've always tended to like high recoil, high damage guns... the Oden was my go-to, back on Verdansk.

Looks like this season is gonna be an LMG meta mainly because of the health changes that we got. But I've noticed that alot of people are picking up the Lachmann 556 because of the low recoil of course.
I feel like I can get lower recoil out of the Kastov 545 than I can out of the Lachmann 556 by stacking the harbinger suppressor with ammo tuned for recoil control and the ripper grip
Taq v has pretty low recoil and clean iron sights the tempus gh50 is a game changer with these battle rifles but u need a suppressor for dmz tho so meta is a bit different
Yep Tempus gh50 is the best for battle rifles noticed that a few seasons ago before the taq v got nerfed really hard. Tempus really keeps that recoil down.

I've got a long range M4 build with high tower barrel, FTAC ripper, compensator is sakin tread, 60 round mag, and schlager 3.4x. I've heard the M4 has the best long range TTK of ARs
Recoil smoothness does nothing according to ace, also you can tune the high velocity ammo to recoil steadiness instead of bullet velocity, you already get great bullet velocity
It does. Its more minimal. You can test for it. For instance, between the Sakin Tread comp and the Xten ported, they tend to have a S curve in their recoil pattern you can get it more straight with recoil smoothness. The impact is likely to be more minor overall, but it may help land a shot or 2. How well it is for each gun may be the big difference. Is it useless not from what I can see. Is it more minor in game, probably.
In my testing I find the Sakin Tread has less of a S curve than the Xten ported comp. This is with recoil smoothness to 70. I didnt notice much else difference. Also, with HV rds, I went with recoil steadiness which seems to make it more of a beamer at range. To make up for bullet velocity I went with the Rapp barrel and no optic. For me the gun feels find without a optic say under like 70 meters. After that may need a optic but youll lose some recoil, still will be vary manageable. To me, the barrel makes the gun feel like a true beamer, without it you have the slight recoil at over 60 meters. 100% controllable but annoying to me.
I’m with you. Guns feel just ok or bad. None feel great anymore. They need to buff mag sizes on several to make up for the insane amount of bullets needed to drop people

Problably headshot nerf is also playing a part, I consider myself a pretty good player, going for headshots if I can, but it does not matter now.
When you say high velocity has no down falls, I would argue that there is a decently relevant downfall and it’s that it reduces the damage ranges by quite a lot. Thoughts on that?
Hey, tony. great video as always. uhmm i dont know if this has been a topic before. But, some attachments are better-off untuned. Kind you check it out? use kastov 762, taq V and other high kicking guns.
SO-14 is fun as well to use in a aggressive way. Full auto is crazy hard to control sure, but the main issue is the ADS and mobility. They need to buff the handling/mobility with the 50 round mag. SMGs are still dominant, but the SO14 could easily compete if it were faster.
Anyone else notice differences between the goats videos and when you look up stuff on tgd yourself? I feel like when I look up best ttk calculator at 65 m and the default combination shots, the squall is still very much in the mix. And my long range ttk results for the lachman 556 at range was worse than the ttk chart he shows at the beginning. Any ideas why that might be?

The HCR is probably one of my favorite LMGs simply because of the drum mag, it has a nice reload for an LMG. And it has no recoil

Unfortunately you cannot extend the HCR's 1st damage range with a barrel. You'd have to use a silencer.
In battle pass there's a free HCR skin with integrated silencer. It's pretty good and easy to control on mouse and keyboard. Do try it.

I think the icarus and the raap are also good options with the raap having a particularly very fast ttk but the raap is really slow

Maybe you’re thinking of the so-14 factory stock attachment for the ebr? It helps a ton of recoil, but none of the stocks on the so-14 do.

I just looked, the SO-90 factory stock on the ebr has the -16% ver and hor recoil benefits, so he might've swapped them by accident?

The lachman rapp barrel on the 556 does a ton of visual recoil especially on higher zoom optics

Switched back to the rpk, running a more of an assault build with a 40 round mag, high velocity, demo grip, horizontal muzzle brake and sight.
