So much more thrashy than I remembered Accept. Has a sort Overkill feel to it, especially because of the vocals
Old guys are so much better at metal.
That's because they're smart, with age brings wisdom and experience brings musicianship, plus they know how to write a song - music, lyrics, beat, melody, timing, riffs, solos, chorus, etc. - there's a beginning, middle, and end. It's called composition and the bands today fail because all they do is come up with 1 lame riff and add lyrics to it and out comes repetitive shit for 3 minutes.
And it helps keep us young!

Since Mark joined Accept, accept has been not stop and better than ever! Three album and not stopping! U.D.O. was good but face it putting former TT Quick singer on the mic was the best idea anybody could come up with! Can't wait to buy this record, on top of my list of gotta haves along with the new judas priest and skid row records. But Accept is number 1!
Still have the 'Restless and Wild' vinyl record I bought in '82. Nice to see they are still around blasting metal to the world!
I also forgot to say the scene setups, natural lighting and all the tech stuff in this vid is extremely well done. Helicopter swoops, and on and on it goes to great effect.

Wolf Hoffman. Maybe the most underrated guitarrist of Metal. Accept is THE german Heavy Metal band. A true band that doesn't need low tuned guitars, a lot of distortion, or growled vocals to be heavy as fuck.

I picked up the album and I can say I don't regret it at all. From this great opener to the social messages of Trail of Tears and the choral effects of 200 Years, this is a truly great album and shows the old guard can rock just as hard as the new guard.

Even though there is a live CD that was just released, there are plans in the Accept camp for a new album. We will see how Mark's voice sounds then. I'm thinking you might have had a bad sound guy that night.
i hope we just had some problems with the audio he might be able to hit high notes perfectly but the guitar bass and drums kind of supressed it i guess we will see
