In the 80's Mark was the lead singer of T.T Quick. It was a NJ club band that played AC/DC, Priest and etc. Later they put out a Cassette tape (Yes, I still have it) and sold it in the clubs. He was always down to earth and talked to his following. He has an extreme passion , energy and gives 110%. Today he sounds EXACTLY the same, as he did then. He is living proof that if you want to realize your dreams, you can, so don't give up.
Hung out with Tornillo and the other guys after many a gig at L'Amour's in Brooklyn. I watch him now and think to myself what his reaction would be if you told him back then that he would be Udo's replacement in Accept lol. P.S. I had they cassette too but lost in years ago but got the album off of RUclips

In my opinion? Great records were the first 2 one' s with Marc. All Accept trademarks and fresh energy with great Songs. The last one was a standard Metal record. No killers. And if the new record is similar to the 2 pre released Songs I am afraid that the loss of Peter is a real big loss in songwriting. And IT hurts me because for now decades Accept was my Personal Definition to explain even aliens what Heavy Metal is.
Saw these guys open for Maiden in 85 and have been a fan ever since. Wolf is an absolutely brilliant guitarist. He makes it look SOOOOOO easy.... LOVE THEM!!!

Tornillo is 69 now and still sounds amazingly good! Wolf is a relative yoof at only 64 :-) Not that many people get the same job for over 40 years. Some bands really should put their instruments down and retire (Sisters of Mercy I'm looking at you), but these guys are still rocking and putting out good new material. Remarkable!

Saw these guys August 3rd at the Orient outside of Denver Just wanted to say you guys rock just like I knew you would when I saw you live call band members thank you so much it was an amazing show. I love how you get the crowd involved in every single song in every single moment. One more note if you ever get a chance to go to the Oriental theater up around Denver area do it because I kid you not you are right there at the stage no kidding the farthest away from the stage and The standing room area is like maybe 25 feet. And hats off to KK's priest I love KK downing and the rest of the boys from KK's priest the singer has a phenomenal voice. Thank you so much to both bands and all their members for coming and playing Colorado anytime anywhere if you're in Colorado I will see you we even built a new Ford amphitheater for you if you could come play that that would be phenomenal When your biggest metal fans Black Forest Metal always and forever!!!!!
I still have my Wolf Hoffmann guitar pick (and t-shirt way too small now) from '85 Metal Heart tour, front row Hlfx Metro Centre. Accept opened for Krokus which was kinda weird. A band called Rough Cutt went on first and were awlful. We were all there to see Accept!! Balls to The Wall!
This was the first song I can ever remember giving an ovation to when it finished. I literally clapped for a good 20 seconds when it ended. Easily one of my all-time favorite first impressions. Right up there with Accept's "Pandemic" and "Teutonic Terror," Stryper's "Marching Into Battle" and "Yahweh," Todd La Torre's "Darkened Majesty" and "Vexed," and Pretty Maids' "Future World" and "Pandemonium" on first impressions. Absolute instant classic. Since The Reckoning came out, I've jammed it in my car at least 100 times. It's that brilliant. I thought "Humanoid" was good, but this is on another level brilliant. LOVE the medium-paced rhythm, drums and cymbals. They all hit and fit at the right moments. I find myself drumming to this song more than anything. It hearkened back to the pace of Teutonic Terror. Tornillo again is spot on with his gruff vocals with his screams at just the right spots. Absolutely amazing at his age how he can still belt it out. And YES, you know Accept is going to bring those tantalizing gang vocals. And what can be said about Wolf? His guitar riffs are so damn unique. When those howling licks hit, you instantly know it's Wolf. For me, the Tornillo/Accept era is a million times better than the Udo/Accept era. In 2013, I said then the three best resurgent 80s bands were Accept, Stryper and Pretty Maids. All three continue to be brilliant with each successive album. IMO, all three bands have made better music since 2010 than the era that put them on the map.

Just saw UDO few days ago in New Bedford MA. Smoked a cigg bummed from Sven Dirksneider , talked to Peter Baltez and the rest of the day and EVERYONE SIGNED my hat. Got the new UDO touchdown vinyl signed by every one! Got an UDO pin for the front of the hat its so sick. I also got the guitar players pick and i used to play my SG and it was like using magic haha. Btw lindsay their merch girl is the best ended up getting her number and social media. But you have no idea how good UDO SOUNDS AND THEY ARE SOOO NICE!!! Perfect 30th birthday present!!!!!
