    Really great video. Feels very adult and to the point. So much content out there is wasted time staring at someone's selfie cam as they talk for 20 mins about anything but the car. Love it, look forward to more rx7 content.

    The sound the turbo makes (like at 4:16 and 4:21) when you let off the throttle to shift...so fun! Don't turn the subwoofer up too much, or you'll drown out that beautiful sound.

    Careful 13psi is a bit much on the stock ecu.. stock boost was around 6 ecu maxs out around 10. You need to port the wastegate to lower and make boost more consistent. The hot start issues is mostly likely a issue with the fuel pump you really need a fuel pump switch with relay to fix hot Start issues i have 2 turbo 2 rx7. Also 1 oz per gallon of pre mix will help a bunch with longevity if omp is still working if omp is off closer to 3 oz. Per gal Great work on the fc! I wish i had the center plastic bezel thats awesome interior looks great nice work!

      @@some-guys-garageI didn't see you addressed most those issues lol I should have seen your other videos first! Nice job! Your a very handy guy! Now I'm going to have to watch and learn myself on your ECU videos!

      It has, indeed, been quite a journey. Frankly, I get a little surprised myself when I look back to the beginning and see how much has changed. Thanks for tagging along!

    The 2-hp mirror sounds great. Maybe I should have one for my just-got-his-license son's car. Might double the value (and hp) of his car. Can you share a link to this one (or even to a "I should'a bought this one instead" model)?

      I added some links to the description. I like this mirror. I put one just like it (but in a 12" version) on Caleb's pickup truck. If you want to hide the wires in the trim and get the auto record option, you need a separate permanent power supply (link also provided).

      Does the 3x 52mm gauge require modification of the dash or did i print it wrong?

    • @some-guys-garage
      @some-guys-garage  Год назад

      @@Mipexdee None of the bezels require any modification of the dash. What about it isn't working for you?

    How did you wire in the camera. Is there a plug you can splice or connect to or do you have it going on to the batter terminal?

    • @some-guys-garage
      @some-guys-garage  Год назад +1

      I piggy backed on the radio power supply. Yellow for constant power, and red for switched (ignition) power.

      @@some-guys-garage Thanks for the info I will have to look into that. I am always interested in how people setup up their circuits and power their toys.

    Just a note....you forgot to mention what AFRs you are getting under load.

    • @some-guys-garage
      @some-guys-garage  Год назад

      My bad. After it's warmed up it runs at about 11 idle, 12 under load, and 13 at peak turbo.

      Some people say you can make it a little better with a fuel pressure regulator and adjust it a little higher but best way to fix is with a ECU adjustment of some sort . They have a way you can run a apexi tuner on the stock ECU with the use of adapter harnesses..

      I used the little plastic clip attached to the sunroof opening.
