You're doing a great job! I enjoy watching you, enjoy your rx7 journey. Have you removed the mass air flow meter now that the link uses a map sensor? I have done something similar on my fc. Only i used an adaptronic. I did design and 3d print an adapter to connect the intake pipe to the standard airbox. If you are interested ill share the file and you can print yourself one. If you haven't already sorted it out yourself.
Thanks, Jarrod. Step by step, right? Thanks for watching. I have not deleted the mass air flow meter. I haven't figured out what to do there. If you have an adapter I can print, that would be amazing! Thank you!
@Some Guy's Garage I've just created a thingiverse account so I'll post up a link to the part here soon. Now keep in mind if you still have the original wiring for your fuel pump, it will want to see a signal from the mass air flow to confirm engine is running and to continue fuel pump operation. Without the mass air flow the fuel pump will only run for a few seconds then turn off. I think it's a safety feature for if your in a crash or something? Anyway, if you haven't already, best do a relay with new power supply to your fuel pump and switch it with your link ecu. You can imagine, this had my scratching my head for a little while when it happened to me.
Thanks, Jarrod. I look forward to it. And yes, I, dealt with the fuel pump wire already. The AFM is still in place, but there is no wire going to/from it, so it will come out without any problem.
Love the videos any chance you would share your tune so other S4 T2 owners have a better base map to start from? And by some I mean me 😂 looking at purchasing the monsoon for my T2 swapped FB.
Thanks for tuning in. You are definitely welcome to what I have. It's available here: drive.google.com/file/d/1QYvrK44cNC0hBSvVXLmFTuNCwfMSIKmH/view?usp=drive_link
