Sofirn, a solid good budget company. Things about Sofirn, their batteries generally are woeful performers. Always use a better battery than what Sofirn can provide. Always order directly from the Sofirn website. Yeah you have to wait a little longer shipping from China. But that is going to be the best price. Good to see this channel starting to get into flashlights.
you explained the user interface and programming very good, compared to other reviewers who don’t know what they are talking about LOL. BUT FYI, the turbo mode does not run for full 3 hrs at 2800 lumens. it will step down because of the heat in about 20-30 seconds. HOWEVER, when it steps down, it will still be higher lumen than the high mode. same thing as high mode, it’ll step down when it gets hot, but still brighter than the medium mode and so on. 👍🏻
Geeze, when you said the operation could be an issue I figured it was going to be Anduril 2, but this just seems annoying to use. On that note, I have a Sofirn q8 plus and it's been really good so far, much better than one would expect for the price.
The UI is definitely involved but I do really like how it performs, decent throw plenty of fill and I think sofirn has them on sale right now for 25$ 🔥🔥 for the money it's pretty impressive
great question, I didnt mention how hot the head of the light gets for 2 reasons 1. I dont have an actual way of measuring that heat. I simply dont have the tool for that unfortunately. 2. I never experienced enough heat during my time using this light to feel the need to express my opinion on it, although in retrospect that may have been a worthy thing to mention since heat control is important but in this case not a factor in its performance thanks for watching!
the performance is really good once you get used to the operation definitely a good light to have in the glove box or if the lights go out for a few days that eco mode run time is fantastic
All of these interfaces are so different and involved. If you don't use the flashlight regularly, it would be really hard to remember any of them. Why can't someone just make it simple and intuitive. Click button on the back with a half-stop. Full-Click: ON/OFF. Half press and hold at any time: The 100-200 lumen range mode. Full press and hold at any time: Strobe/Self-Defense Mode. Finally, put a clicking twist ring with an indicator bump up near the bulb. Far left: Lockout (Half & Full Press and hold still function, but click does not), 1st Position: Moon, 2nd Position Low, 3rd Position Med, 4th Position: High, 5th Position: Turbo. USB - C Charging and maybe an LED power indicator. Profit.
Look at that.....nobody else here yet...Well hello there all you beautiful people to come 💜🤙

Nice review
Good review, best so far of all the sc28 reviews. I own the sc28 and its UI is killing me. I wish I knew how to change the modes with consistently.
Very good review, well done 👍
