England 1-0 Hungary (1990)

Graham Taylor's reign as England manager gets off to a winning start with an encouraging display against Hungary in a friendly at Wembley in September 1990. Gary Lineker marks his first game as captain by scoring the only goal, but England create virtually every good chance and have two more goals disallowed in the second half.

Camped out overnight in a disused woodshed outside Wembley Stadium along with two mates,coldest two nights in my life,and the view from Wembley was terrible.But still a great experience.ENGLAND & BLACKPOOL FC
