  • I was given this tractor by a great guy from my church. I kept it for years and really enjoyed it. He recently passed away and I thought it'd be fun to show off this interesting tractor.

    Oh Kyle you should have kept that one for sure. That would have been an easy restore for you.
    And you could have used it in Peeraids and Shows and given kiddy rides too.
    If I would have had the money I would own it for sure.
    Wheel Horse back then were super tough tractors until TORO got hold of them.

    Use to own one just like it. Sold and wish I hadn't. They are work horses.
    After selling, it was in a barn fire which totally destroyed it.

    That's quite the businessplan you have there.
    It may take 1 or 2 years, but then you can stay home in front of the telly, and have your son washing all your tractors and your daughter filming and editing everything...
    smart 😁
    Happy new year&best wishes from the Netherlands 👍

    Very cool video. That is one of the last short frame tractors made. Being a running and mowing tractor I would say $300.00 - 350.00 would be a good asking price. I would take those railroad tie plates off the front axle. They will make the wheel bearing/bushings wear more. Very nice and original machine. I'd leave it original but clean it really well. Rub it down with 0000 steel wool followed by Boiled Linseed oil. Just my opinion though. Thanks for sharing.

    Good one, Kyle. I suspect if you can’t find any/many for sale then this machine would definitely be in the “collectibles” category, and as such be worth quite a bit more than a running/ driving, functional tractor. Maybe it’s time to look into some collectors forums to zero in on value. Then it might actually be a unit you can sell in the Winter for full price. 🤞🔧👍

    • @Kylebythecreek
      @Kylebythecreek  7 месяцев назад +4

      Hi. I get a lot of Ryobi comments. Very strange in my opinion. I’m just a hobbyist, and these tools work great for what I do. Plus, many of them are gifted to me for Christmas and birthdays. I have no problem using these tools. I hope you can still enjoy my content despite viewing a tool brand that you don’t prefer

      @@Kylebythecreek
      I purchased a Ryobi drill over 30 years ago and aside from the chuck which developed a minor issue it has been a workhorse ever since. I eventually purchased a second and third battery for it and have had all three rebuilt and upgraded with stronger cells about 3 times. I purchased a duplicate one maybe 4 years ago on eBay so now I have 5 batteries and two chargers. 🔧👍
      Oh, and I think those wood fenders are genius! Simple, easy to fabricate and install, easy to replace and they do the job perfectly. 👍
