Gene Scott was a "character". I went to college in Pasadena in the early 80's and would listen to him on the radio. Love him...or hate him, he was absolutely brilliant and I have a degree in theology. He would speak for hours without notes! He was a walking religious encyclopedia.

Who's lying about Christmas? I tell my son that we don't know the exact day for sure and people have just chosen one to celebrate on. Christmas isn't wrong.

This guy makes good points. I love these type of discussions. My parents I dont think lied to me about Jesus's birthday. They just said since no one knows the precise date our society celebrates on this day. Something like that anyway...its very dramatic to go to kids and say it's a heathen feast! I don't disagree though. Hanakuh does seem more holy, as many holidays are so material nowadays.

Easter holiday is in direct opposition to what Yeshua said. He said he would be in the belly of the earth 3 days AND 3 nights.. It's all pagan. We should be doing the holy days in the books of moses in my opinion.

I enjoyed Gene Scott immensely back in the 90s on shortwave. He was not only entertaining but, when he chose to be, a great teacher. And no, I didn't give him any money. Pastor Melissa is as dry as dust in the desert. Boring, uninspiring.
I don't think you can compare Doc and Pastor Melissa. They're truly apples and oranges, and I think she'd be the first to admit that. I recommend that you scan her RUclips channel and pay attention to the weekly service from the sanctuary. She's been damn fiery lately.
