Aye they do that Jane, I know they sponsor us but seriously they are amazing spades, I love them. If ever you buy one remember we have the 10% code at spinadiscmetaldetectors.com and they sell Blackada :-) thank you work watching 👀😊
Nice hunt guys still some good finds there from a well covered field I've just been given 30 acres of pasture can't wait to get cracking on it cheers 👍👊🎧👊
Hi lads, well I am with Shaun, if you are going to have one, have a big one...🤣 The big coil will take a bit of getting used too, I know I have had the 400i with the 15 inch coil on it for a few years now, but I trust the 400 and the coil.. so I'm a happy digger. Looks like you where on the same type of field has I have been on, all the copper coins where toasted.. but at least your grass was short, not like mine... Take care lads Tom
Hey Tom, I really enjoy swinging the 15inch coil, not 100% sure yet if I'm getting deeper targets or finding more just because the more area I cover but I'm sure time will tell :-)
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel Hi Mike mate, I love the big coil, great for new land, to cover large areas, and try and locate hot spots.. here is a piece from Minelab web site.. Hope it helps.... The size of a coil can influence the detection depth and sensitivity of a metal detector. A good rule of thumb is ‘the larger the coil, the more ground you can cover and the deeper it can go’. This sounds like the be all and end all, but the extra depth comes at a price. Large coils have less sensitivity to smaller targets and a greater susceptibility to Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI), meaning you may have to notch that sensitivity right down, depending on the interference of the location. On the other hand, smaller coils have greater sensitivity to smaller, shallow targets and are less susceptible to EMI. There’s also the added benefit that small coils can fit in very confined areas. Take care mate Tom
when your laying down your detector and then only digging three sides of the hole you should get in the habit of laying it down on the side your not digging that way you can't accidently step back on it. good vid.
Thats great advice matey thanks, I also notice when I'm editing the videos that I stick my spade in the ground way to close to my detector haha 😄 thanks for watching matey
Nice vid! You never find everything... Today I had 4 hours on a field that have been absolutely hammered over and over... Took home 4 small silver coins :) 15 inch coil looks interesting, but just how front heavy does the Nox get with one of those bad boys?
It's defo heavier but by the sounds of it not as heavy as the new coiltek 15inch. Haha when were able to travel again we will be back up North Yorkshire for all the good finds, here in West and south Yorkshire they were tight back in the day and never dropped anything.. mind you some shiny silver coming up in next week's vid :-)
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel Ahhh, looking forward to the shiny stuff! Think I'll just stick to the 11" standard coil until I get the hang of the machine...
I know it didn't show on this video but on some the the other vids coming out in a week or 2 you will see me pull targets that the 12inch didn't pick up so I would defo say its worth getting.
One our most fun days of filming with the Equinoxs was this one

Just received the 15" minelab coil today, out tomorrow, did you have to factory reset
No matey just popped it on switched on and away we went! Took a little getting used to the pinpointing but is pretty good coil
Got to see a coiltek 15" comparison chaps 👍
Yep I think that's got to be a good comparison
