What proportion of the US MIC is owned by interests of the state that already receives the majority of our aid. We argue that aid returns to fund our MIC, but that also mainly returns to that state. Thus the US has been milked into debt and dominance has been achieved by that state.

I’m not 60, but not far from it and l have seen good things. Of course I have seen bad things as well… our foreign policy needs to be adjusted. Sacs says some agreeable things but the fact that he always speaks in support of our adversaries makes him non credible. He’s just as corrupt as the politicians in my opinion it’s quite obvious. He sits here saying the same things that could be said about Russia, China and Iran. He speaks of corruption? The people in these countries have spoken out about their own governments and we communicate with their citizens now through social media. It’s ridiculous like these places aren’t corrupt with greater wealth disparities than the US. He must be for authoritarianism because he never is concerned about the citizens and just continuously bashing America on behalf of Russia & China.

He is not the ideal candidate, but the alternative is worst. Trump believes in personal freedom which is the true American spirit. He should work with China and tone down his attacks against that nation as they are not the cause of America's problems.

If you want to know how good US corporations are doing, why don’t you look at how many tax deductible business jets have been bought in the last three years. They use them for their family vacations. Just look at who’s on the aircraft during crash investigations….their family, side chicks or nannies.

All of Americas money for infrastructure, health, housing, roads and bridges, high speed rail all going up in smoke on battlefields around the world. China has many high speed rails, incredible bridges, not only in China but in other countries as well. All of the wealth of America and it’s people are like poor relations.

The biggest business of US is arms sales. The main objective of the US government, Congress and Senate is to profit the arms companies. There is no such thing as a waste of money so long as arms are concerned. The more money is wasted the better because this means the arms companies are making tons of money. See how many millions of tons of weapons are left in Afghanistan after the American soldiers ran away. The US government is not worried about those weapons because the arms companies have already profited from those weapons.

The problem is that the US has a different definition of military success from ours. We think military success means achieving policy objectives after the war is over. The US thinks military success means clobbering its adversary nation with its military might at the beginning of the war. The use of overwhelming military power to kill and destroy justifies military spending and the profitability of the military-industrial complex.

Mr. Sacks may be too diplomatic to state the obvious, that the US interest in Taiwan mainly lies in, to contain China within the first island chain militarily, and not to allow China to gain control of high end chip production economically-both of which are hegemonistic and imperialistic motives.
