I’m a pretty positive person. “Let it slide,” I often say. But in the interests of transparency, I don’t think I’m projecting when I say, Ben and Dave are nobody’s spools. I think this film will bring a big reversal of all the negativity we often see. Looking forward to see how this develops! And then how it develops a second time, and what gets fixed.

Flic Film is the best they are doing so much for the film community. As I require new chemicals I buy their products and I recently got some of the Elektra 100.

Here I am thinking it's a bit expensive comparing it to 120 slide film until I did the math - 36 exp vs 12 exp. Definitely a good price. I'll have to order up a roll or two and dust off a 35mm camera. Nice offering Mr. Marshall. And how can I not support someone wearing such a fine t-shirt as you! Thanks for the vid/info BFC.

I highly appreciate this film being on the market, we need more slide films anyway. However with 20 bucks per roll, this is still way out of my range... unfortunately!

In my country e6 dev and scan are very expensive. 10 bucks for 1 roll. Compared to c41 3 bucks and even local homebrew 7 for 3 roll bw/c41/ecn

The price of this film goes to show how either Kodak is totally overpricing their film or there are too many steps between Kodak Rochester and the consumers.

Greedflation is hammering consumers across industries, including film. Can’t wait to try this beautiful slide film.

I wonder if they're buying the film directly from Eastman Kodak vs Kodak Alaris. If that's the case, then it's a middle man that they're cutting out. I wonder if it's Alaris that are the ones raising the prices instead of Eastman. I think movie film is generally sold by Eastman Kodak directly; correct me if I'm wrong.

      this video addresses this point:
      ruclips.net/video/m9YJle7jqg4/видео.html
makes sense to me although ideally the would outsrouce a bunch of smaller film producers to use parts of their plant so that it becomes a big shared space... utopia for now, reality of sorts soon enough.

In my part of Canada, a roll of "real" Ektachrome is about $45. Buying this respooled Ektachrome from BFC is significantly cheaper than the "real" thing.

I don’t see where 75% the cost of Ektakhrome unless you over priced the Kodak. Kodak is only $18. Marketing scams
