i finally found a video that has a name for this tool! i remember several years ago going to the art store and asking them if they had one of those “embroidery needles that you stab through the material and it automatically puts in a stitch…” they looked at me crazy… now i know to look for a “punch needle!” i can finally hyper focus for a few weeks (and then inevitably forget about and/or give up) on a new style of arts+crafts that i’ve wanted to try for years!! thank you 🥰💖

I LOVED punch needle works, i remember my school, well, for our PE(our PE consisted od art related topics), hired a guy to teach the whole class about punchneedle embroidery and even gave us an activity to make our own mats with the cutest designs! And gave us our own small punch needles made from bamboo! I sadly lost that punch needle and searched for it far and wide with no luck :")) hopefully ill get to making punch needle embroidery/art soon this is such a good childhood memory for me

It was my assignment in my college to make a rug, handmade, and i used the same tool as it was a requirement.. its not so simple to do it obviously it takes a lot of time and effort but the end result is worth it all💕 and my loops were 1 inch.. It took me 2 months to complete that rug and after completing, I was so happy because iy was so beautiful ❤️ infact I've also uploaded a video on Instagram making it✨ This technique is amazing 😍 and once you're comfortable and used to this tool its much easier to do it but still not easy 🤧
