- In a world before social media, this is an unseen footage since 1994, with legendary interviewer Michael Parkinson. I was 28 years of age at the time, & it's amazing to look back at this in 2023, where I'm celebrating my 40th year in music, with album ‘My Life Is A Symphony'.
Nudity is much maligned in contemporary culture! I was so proud of this piece by Peter Robertson but it provoked such strong dissonance with different people I actually took it off the wall and it sat like Oscar Wilde’s portrait of Dorian Grey facing the wall getting older and fatter over the years ( joke)
My daughter lamented that my minge was at face level for her school pals (their average height then was 3’8”) as they would walk down the hallway , my cousins conservative southern husband claimed it was “unnatural” yet I argued there is nothing more natural.
Even in this interview I’m embarrassed and apologetic!!!!!! Ohhhh! I’m proud of it and sad that I haven’t loved me enough over the years. In paint or in person! My only regret is that I had planned to wear a trench coat to view it in the gallery, and drop it, to prove that at that time there was no fiction to the scale of the painting, but I didn’t. Love this interview. Sad of our loss of Michael Parkinson, wish we could roll back time and then I’d really tell him what I thought! Such is life.

Kate… It’s hard to believe that you’re in your 40th year in the industry & I can still remember the first time I saw you perform with your group at the time… I’m Talking ✋️😎. Let’s just say… It was love at first sight that continues to this day 💖👍😍💖
This footage is surreal. Watching the younger Kate makes me feel lost & nostalgic almost like it was from an earlier period than what it was.
1:15 I wonder if they'll hang that up in the local Church Of Scientology foyer.
When I clicked on this, I didn't know I was going to see a painting of Kate's lady-muff.😅
