It saddens me that this generation of people are coming to the end of their lives. So much energy and enthusiasm and such a positive view of the world. If only we could bottle the secret sauce that has made such men like Clint. Simply wonderful!
Clint Eastwood is an outstanding role model of a man that has no need to walk in anyone else's shoes as he's very comfortable in his own. All that Clint Eastwood is and presents, is on display for all to see and to learn from should they wish to do so. There are many others out there that fit into this category. However, an individual does need to know what they're looking for to identify it and potentially learn from it. This applies to all.

Eastwood is a faker. He lied to get out of fighting in the Korean war then went on to make countless terrible films portraying extremely unrealistic and idiotically glamourised violenc. Cool, Eastwood is not. A boring and fairly unintelligent right wing clown, he most certainly is.
Couldn’t watch High Plains Drifter though . Had to turn it off but no doubt a classic but for me I can’t see one of My Heroes behave like that on a film
My Dad was the same, and we lost him in January. We had some Clint quotes in frames at the wake, and the one that I kept is “We are like boxers. One never knows how much longer one has”. ♥️
