can someone explain the dnworks hype to me? all see is some random guy with no reputation making super basic boards that don't stand out from the sea of nearly identical projects, except he charges like 50% more than anyone else would for an equivalent product. why are people buying them?

fair enough, ive been following his stuff for a while and they seem ok, it just themed and some people with extra deep pockets are willing to pay it ig. theyre not bad boards, just boards with very high price tags.

in my own experience being part of one of the buys, you are guarenteed a very high quality product with excelent machining/ano/ and overall great sound straight out of the box, not to mention the very quick turnover time for the buy, waiting months instead of years

its like how weebs will overpay for GMK Darling. kpop simps will also overpay for a Jane replica with their idol's name engraved in hangul lmao. oh and make them in low supply to induce extra FOMO. also I wouldn't say no reputation hes a controversial figure to say the least if you ask around (known flipper amongst other things)
