A fact about the transmission many people still don't know, it uses an "eCVT" not a CVT. There's an actual planetary gearset with the engine and two electric motors as 3 inputs, and the gearset converts the 3 inputs to a single output. The "gear ratio" is modulated by the speed differential of the electric motors. Trick stuff. But there are no pulleys or belts like you see in the non hybrid Corolla.
I found your channel randomly by researching the new Kia K5 GT Line. I currently own my 3rd Toyota. My 3rd Toyota Camry. I've always liked that particular generation of Highlander! I will say some Toyota Hybrid models when you activate the "Sport" mode, it will change the Hybrid gage over to a tachometer! Not sure about the Highlander hybrid model though.
