The 2019 Freightliner Cascadia I drive at work had no clutch brake. I told the shop it needed to be adjusted. They put a whole new clutch in it. Works great now.
I think your trailer was bowing cause all that weight was on one side. When I worked at a warehouse I always alternated sides when pulling material off.
Naa they bow out like that due to the tight turns, when they twist due to a load being off center the side the load is on twists down and bows in at the same time.
@@SouthGeorgiahotshot I don't drive a truck but I'm pretty sure 10 ft of spread on your axles put a lot of leverage on a trailer. Especially in a tight turn with weight on.
Better view of the front before we pull out....yup, that's exactly what she said ;-) You just expanded your business by 100% Good luck!! You forgot to mention how is the new clutch after the repair.
You do realize that trailer is bowed like that cause you are in a half left turn with tension on that front axle pushing the trailer out on the right side.
Awesome of you to help your big bro out and lease him on with you! I’m just surprised you agreed to do so, with how accident prone he is! Lol 😂 jk, best of luck you guys! Keep’em rolling!
I think his bed raises up and there's a table underneath of it and you need to watch the airlines on them Volvos some of them brought out especially after setting
I know it’s not Lita. (2nd driver) Just think if she had a CDL you could have showered at home, slept in your own bed. Is your brother’s wife going to drive? Have you mentioned your brothers experience in a semi? Driving same places could be a nice advantage. Plus look for a heavy tow rope. If one breaks down the other could complete trip, unhook, come back pull broken down combo off interstate. Unhook, pull broken down truck to shop, return, haul 2nd load while truck fixed. Hope this fixes the Mack.
Old rule: never do business with family or close friends - it never ends well. I can tell you a dozen stories of people I have seen try and fail. I don't know anyone who made it work. Good luck, I hope you are the exception.
I spent 15 years in trucking before my brother started driving. I drove for 4 years and worked in office for CR England as an operations manager. I had to get recertified for my cdl.
@@cnsfugate are you going to start vlogging from the road? I subscribe to your homestead channel but let us know if you start a trucking channel. Congratulations on the truck and good luck and be safe.
I'm getting a headache just THINKING about all the paperwork you had to go thru... people ask me all the time about me hiring on drivers and I'm like NO WAY! You are a lot younger and have time to grow your business so it's right for you. Hopefully your shifting problems are over. Still need an answer on why it happened so you can prevent the next one from crapping out. I like your brother's axle arrangement... that's what I would look for.
Great video. Be sure and keep us up to date on the clutch brake. Were you able to get any type of refund ? How was the Turkey? Next time you make a video with your brother if his wife is around include her. Does she have CDL license? That is a good looking rig that your brother has. What motor and transmission does it have ? You guys stay safe out there. 🙏👍💕🇱🇷
It's a Verizon. We just bought a sim from eBay from a seller. There's lots on there. But with the one we went with there's only certain hotspots that work because you have to change some settings
Robert I've been working as a Registered Nurse for the last 26 yrs. However, I'm wanting to buy a truck and trailer then lease on with someone, any suggestions?
A registered nurse to a truck driver?? I would try it out with a company with their truck first. You might hate it. If you still like it. I would check out landstar
Robert! Come on now! What was the outcome of you contacting the company about their employees ripping you off? You've left me hanging and my husband is cracking up. I binge watched all vids after this, just trying to get the "rest of the story". 🤷🤦
You need to put a dump switch in your truck to dump the air in your rear axle and you will save on tires and get you out of a jam
Good to see your brother on board now, keep it going guys !
The new supper power truckers. Good luck. Hope you get to work on your property some times.
Congratulations!!
Nice looking Volvo, my 70 and 71 Monte Carlos was either dark maroons or candy apple red with fish eyes in the paint back in my younger days.
Yep almost the color of my mustang
Congratulations to y’all brother 💪🏿🚛
Congrats to you & your brother nice setup rig ready for oversized loads $$$

Good luck guy keep up the good work

Big wide turns is how you get out of there.

Yep 👍
Lita is lucky to have such a handsome husband.
