I got too much rgb. Got these speakers, got rgb mouse and rgb mouse pad. got the rgb keyboard. Got rgb monitor. Got a full custom loop rgb build. All on my tiny desk.. think i need rgb desknext
lol me 2 corsair RGB keyboard, mouse, mousepad, and these speakers. Just need to find a RGB strip for my nzxt build and maybe but some corsair fans in also. You have strips on your monitor?
Ugh this is why I hate these sponsored ads for the companies with 0 thought about the actual consumers who believe them and buy the product. These speakers have tons of issues, I just got mine and while the lights are nice there is a buzzing sound in the left speaker that comes on a lot. It's really irritating spending this much on speakers to have a huge issue like this, I've seen it commented on everywhere about the left speaker having issues and no solutions anywhere.
I have these speakers... the problem I find with them is the direction the back light face, they face down which is poorly designed as the speakers sit on your desk and as you can see all the light is below the monitor... if they faced up for the light to emit on each side of the monitor the colour on the screen would be more accurate to the light emitting from the speakers. No one mentions in the reviews how to set the zones on your screen from where the speakers are getting the colour from. There are four zones being right back, right front, left back and left front. Now the obvious way for these to be set is back zones up higher on the screen and front zones lower as is the default setting... but from the speakers all the light is emitted at the bottom hence not matching the zones on the screen. I ended up disabling the front leds and moving the back zones to the bottom corners so at least whatever colour in those areas of the screen gets emitted onto the wall. It’s a shame cos they could have been fantastic... I might make my own review to give the full story with the cons not just the pros.
I know a lot of reviews are just preference. But this is exactly how I want my reviews. Exactly. Well done bruv. I just bought these (got em for 100 usd because it was an open box) and the sound is amaaaazing. I have concrete walls on my basement and I can let these baby’s off the leash for real. Only problem is the app sucks is constantly tells me I’m not connected to my speakers when I am so I am curious on how to do the customizing via computer. Great stuff tho boss
I don't necessarily like the look, but I ordered them a few nights ago anyway. I wanted some good gaming speakers that wouldn't break the bank but also weren't completely cheapy and crappy. So I think I made the right choice. Can't wait to get them and hear how they sound. Anyway, good review! Cheers!
I've had the G560s for about a month now and if it wasn't for the software I'd give them a 4/5. The current experience though? 2.5/5 at best. The volume range is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes volume level 8 sounds sounds like 2, and sometimes 8 sounds like 20. Google 'Logitech G560 volume'. Logitech says that this is a known issue. Then there's the problem of the Screen Sampler. If you enable 'Lighting Sleep Timer' the software can get into a state where after X time (where X is the # that you have in the sleep timer settings) the software will try and kick into sleep mode, but it doesn't fully, and the end result is that your entire system get's choppy/laggy. The only way to resolve this is to kill LCore.exe (manually or via reboot). Uninstalling/reinstalling their gaming software will resolve this for a longer term (sometimes entirely, sometimes not). The screen sample areas can be super random in its ability to respond to a selected screen area. On 1440p & higher res, selecting an area of the screen that is higher than x=1150 (like x=1152, which is technically lower on the screen, but you know what I mean) results in the light going dark. This is not consistent across all systems, but multiple people have hit this limitation. Anyhow, if Logitech were to address these issues then the G560s are a solid 4 out of 5, but as it stands, there are too many workarounds needed. Logitech has been promising a software/firmware update "soon" but they've been saying this since March...
Are you still using them? What’s your opinion after a year, have you experienced any problems I read about such as speakers disconnecting from time to time, disappearing bass on low volume, problems with setting good volume on low level etc.?
The software is still riddled with issues. Light changing randomly from their presets, turning off all together, volume and overwhelming bass is STILL and issue. The software is a mess. Don't bother.
hi I am actually about to buy those Klipsch Promedia 2.1 then I seen this and was wondering which ones now.. I know u cannot beat KLIPSCH I just like the lighting effects since it will be strictly for gaming Thoughts?
I currently have the Klipsch Pro media 2.1 as well and well they are excellent speakers in every category regarding sound I do not like the wire management with these.. the speaker wires are so messy and in order to have a clean installation you need to bundle them up with wire ties under the desk and that is a pain otherwise you will have a big wire mess.. So I will be selling them for cheap too cuz I will be ordering these G560's soon
The lights can be put off ....That's a big plus. The Graphic EQ looks very good. I think one can device his own style of sound with these speakers according to the surrounding acoustics. Great looking system for a small price !
How did you actually get 2.1 sound? With aux or with generic drivers there is no bass, and with usb they are forced to run 7.1 in windows so with or without surround sound turned on you get missing sounds in games. Nothing i do seems get to get me proper sound. The sound quality is nice sure.. on the half the sounds that actually play.
This is a great set of speakers. I have them and have been scouring the interwebs looking for help with screen sampler. Everyone talks so fast and doesn't spend enough time talking about screen sampler.
One problem with these speakers is the random jumps in volume when turning it up and down. The volume would be quiet. You press the buttons on the speakers twice or so and the volume jumps up so high unlike A analog speaker setup with a turn nob. All I can say is I don't use them personally for this reason. I did like them for a while but that random audio jump just turned me off. So I went back to my Z523 Logitech speakers that I've had for years. The lightsync is okay but more of a gimmick.
I have these speakers, and one bug that i found is windows messes up the balance levels after every reboot. I set my level to 12 from gaming software, and when I reboot the right speaker is at 20 and the left one at 12. So if you have these, then better check that out.
I've been seeing people saying its glitchy from the software making it have no sounds or having to plug in and plug out to make it work again is this true? Or has it been fixed
Hey man. I just purchased these. They come in today. However i see they have been discontinued. How are they holding up for you? I’m hearing things about bad software. How are yours so far?
The cables are thick so you do not have USB noise. I ordered a Creative Kratos S5 that was a piece of shit that I returned. The speakers had a loud hiss noise that actually hurt my ears. I bought another pair of Kratos S5 to see if my previous unit had an issue but the newer one had the same issue. After my second Kratos S5 had that annoying hiss noise I decided to buy a Logitech G560 and could not be happier. No hiss because Logitech used thick cables that have proper grounding capability.
you can use the arx software and use that as a volume remote from your phone by the way - i find the bass to high on these speakers for apartment living....lack of customization of sound
Can you plug both aux and USB at the same time? If so while using aux will windows give me the option to set up as 2.1 instead of always seen it as 7.1?
I really like SoundBlasterX Katana and it's design.. But... The price is nearly $300 everywhere I look, then the lights seem to be always static rainbow spectrum or just turned off which I hate. Also, it's a little too big for the actual size of the speakers inside the bar. These are cool for the reactive lighting, even though I already have 3 Philips Hue Play bars on the back of my monitor. I KIND OF don't like the design, I wish they could be mounted on the wall or something. IDK it just looks like they're missing something in the design department even though a the same time they do look sleek and cool. I'm kind of sold on these only because the RGB sounds sick in theory... They keep getting in the TOP 5 lists from different websites since they came out. Usually TBH they're #1 for Gaming speakers... I hear they have this cool "5D" sound technology that just immerses you like crazy... Dunno, might have to bite the bullet here and get them I guess... Fuck lol.
Just a quick question, I read that there was a volume issue, 2 being too quiet and 4 being too loud. I saw there was a firmware update but is this issue fixed? The posts were from 2018. If anyone could shine some light on it would be perfect! (no pun intended) I ordered these yesterday and arriving today so just wanna know what to expect! Thanks In advance.
Hi Jared, I bought these speakers and running it on my mac, i cant seem to make the light sync with my music. Whenever the bass hits, the lights does nothing. All it does it just flashes the rgb colors. Did you have the same problem? Cheers
Just got mine today...have the SoundBlaster Katana X soundbar+sub and so far...I have a feeling that I like the Katana more :/ Despite having less overall watts, the katana seems to thump much harder.
Hi. I am interested in those speakers, but something that comes up in my mind is if I save some eq via USB and the app, does that eq have effect on playing them only through 3.5mm jack or Bluetooth? Or does it reset all after unplugging from the pc. I was thinking of using them as TV/entertainment speakers in the man cave
i think its an awesome unit audio system but logitech really blew it about the controller... its not that hard to just build a remote to it ... if they had invent a remote to it that control the volume/BASS and LED on/off it would be 10/10 but it really gives the feeling they got really lazy and didn't think very much of how to make this really comfortable to anyone
what are your thoughts on these comments, because I agree with those folks, to me, the speakers are hard to configure to get the sound that I would like, i live in an apartment, I don't want to much base, but i want clarity and its tough to find the right balance, i cant make out the words but the bass is enough to drive neighbors crazy .... hard to configure correctly....and they SHOULD show up as 2.1 not 7.1 and that does impact some games which try to output to speakers that don't exist " level 1 PantherHeel93 1 point · 2 years ago Not sure if this helps, but you can enable/disable the virtual surround option in the Logitech Gaming Software. why my g560 is nothing like yours in the video? Mine doesn't light the wall like yours and mine sounds like they are in a well.
Can we just use a default screen sampling setting? 💙💜❤️🔥🍾

Are you able to control the volume with a keyboard ? Or only by adjusting on speakers?!
You are able to control the volume as you normally would using the Operating System / Keyboard / Function Keys.
Not enough inputs and no remote :(

Not sure if this helps, but you can enable/disable the virtual surround option in the Logitech Gaming Software. From there it should perform as 2.1 even if Windows isn't necessarily calling it that. At least that's been my experience.

Sorry, but that doesn't work.

This is, without a doubt, the most (expensive and) frustrating set of speakers I've ever owned. You expect something like speakers/headsets to just work when you plug them in, yet somehow these have been really over-complicated.
Clarification: The frustration comes from having speakers that while running through USB on Win10 are annoyingly loud, even at volume level 1/100. Combine with a stereo set that tells the OS it's 7.1, this is really bad, folks. I use Logi equipment pretty much exclusively (G502, G810, G633, even a G940) and this is the first piece of hardware that has really missed the mark in usability. It's like the firmware was written for another set of speakers altogether.

Not sure if this helps, but you can enable/disable the virtual surround option in the Logitech Gaming Software. From there it should perform as 2.1 even if Windows isn't necessarily calling it that. At least that's been my experience.

Windows recognize it as 7.1 for compatibility reasons (and people whining about not seeing it as 7.1 in windows audio settings). If you disable surround sound via LGS all applications should be treating the speakers as standard stereo.

Please turn off the surround sound on LGS so that you can set it on stereo mode.

Sorry, but that doesn't work.
I've never turned on 7.1 (why would I? It's only a stereo + sub setup... why would you even include 7.1?) and Windows and all games still think it's a 7.1 system, so I end up losing the non-existent center channel. I can only hear voices and game effects that take place at the sides of the view.
