Thank you for the review, I was looking for an audio solution that is not blocked by the triple screens. Drilled an hole in the arched part of the speakers and fixed them to the aluminum profile monitor mount with corner brackets and its pefect! The lightsync function really add to the experience...that green hue when racing on the Nordschleife is 👌
Ive had mine for a year and i love them, the sound quality is really good and it ads so much to my setup especialy at the price i bought them for which was 150$ Good review, enjoyed the video and im digging the music in the backround! 👍
I’ve had this for 3 years and they are really good for the price. Would recommend adjusting with the logi App for a good equalizer pro file. Its a solid buy for anyone looking for some good looking speakers. Cheers from Mexico and go Checo.
I hate how there's no good representation of sound when it comes to recording. Looking at the specs, 120 watts RMS sounds reasonable, but that's split across 3 speakers. 18khz also tells me these are large drivers, with no tweeter support, hence the plenty of bass, but I'm not hearing a crystal clear top end.
Yup, not much I could really do to give a good representation of the sound quality. I’m also not the most credible when it comes to talking about audio equipment, hence I would recommend looking at other reviews if you’re interested in learning more. These caught my eye due to the RGB lights as well as their affordable price. And considering the sound quality is decent, I think they’re worth it albeit, it won’t be a professional sound system by any means.
@@OCRacing possibly a good surround sound system for the sides or rear, but main speakers should have tweeters to give full range. Most systems can do 20khz or more, and believe me, your ears can tell. RGB lighting is cool, but sound quality is the more important key. I've bought brand new Altec Lansing, a reputable audio system company, that sounded like crap.
A driver this small will not be able to reproduce frequencies below 70 Hz. The bass you hear comes from the sub, which probably will not reproduce frequencies below 40 Hz considering how little power it has. Subs that can do that are usually thousands of watts.
If there was a standalone of what the reverb g2 and valve index do, where they float earphones over your ears without touching so it's like really open back headphones that don't even touch your ear, that would be cool. I'm not much of an audiophile, but it's a pretty interesting difference in sound stage between open and closed back. It's kind of a preference but for sim I think most people would appreciate the wider soundstage.
Do you know if there is a way to get these lights to flash certain colors based on in-game events? For instance, could they flash in colors related to in-game flags?
Hey man. I just purchased these. They come in today. However i see they have been discontinued. How are they holding up for you? I’m hearing things about bad software. How are yours so far?
Actually, I use the AirPods Pro with Noise cancelling to game. I think they are awesome, until they just died. (I don’t notice the Bluetooth delay tbh). Especially while playing with a keyboard 😂😂😂
@@OCRacing Well, I don’t like to use them while driving, because I know it can get distracting and not all my sense is on the road (people are crazy drivers here). Instead, I put my phone in the cup holder and listen to Spotify.
Sorry i am just over these $200 speaker sets. Always all plastic and absolute rubbish sound everytime. Any speaker that weighs 1.8lb and has rbg lighting built is an guaranteed waste of money. People need to start understanding that a 10year old logitech rubbish set for $250 and a new one now for $299 is the same crap in a different wrapper. BUT NOW WITH leds Look at speakers like the Audioengine A2+ ($269) or the HD3 ($349) Those cabinets are not plastic wont resonate and distort and will wipe the floor with these plastic excuse of a speaker. And the Audioengines look like beautiful small bookshelfs that would look great on a computer desk OR a living room entertainment unit. These logitechs on the livingroom would be just embarassing. I dont understand how this is still going on. Logitech back in the day made the Z-680 and the Z-5500 which were incredible value and since then they have replaced them with absolute rubbish. Keyobards etc are great but speakers? give me a break. I bought a second hand pair of Z-5500 after 10 years when i gave my pair away to a friend and then decided i needed a pair again for the race sim. paid $150 and they are strong enough to run a house party or a small nightclub lol Comparison - G560 120w RMS with weak amplification Logitech Z-5500 from 2004 are 505 watts RMS 5 speakers 1 Massive sub goes down to 33hz not 40hz like the g560 and guaranteed output will be double AT LEAST Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Digital, DTS, DTS 96/24 G560 SPL - 97db Z-5500 - reach 120db so more than double the volume. Anyone Please dont buy this shit and maybe computer speaker companies will step up their game. They dont do anything as everyone keeps buying absolute crap in a new box. What happened to progress logitech? Ill be honest i have a stereo system in the living room worth over $20k for sound alone. Its a different ballgame but the Logitech z-5500 still make me laugh for what they did for the money and now at $150 secondhand
I bought the G560's and absolutely can't stand them. All the great reviews led me to pull the trigger. The sound is pretty lackluster without using a 3rd party app and even then it is just kinda meh. The sub always seems weak and I have to double check it is even on sometimes. The absolute WORST part though is because of the RGB I have to use Logitech software... and it is GARBAGE. All the recent drivers and software updates cause the speakers to power cycle every 10 minutes. Every time I go online to find a solution it is the exact same copy paste response from Logitech support on various threads that just does not work. It is absolutely mind boggling how many complaints this product has on forums yet all the popular tech reviewers gave it great reviews. Shills. Hacks and shills.
No. They are not “The Best”. They are essentially toys. Within a certain dollar range perhaps, but that is wildly subjective and depends on listening environment.
I like the shorter review format for smaller items

Already have these but I'm still watching for some reason

yup. When testing vr, I really liked that. Hadn't thought of wanting headset like that before.
I just so happen to have purchased these for my sim rig . They do well.
I actually stole these from your setup for the review and put them back before you noticed.
I actually like those types of speakers, with the RGB lighting is just amazing
Great for immersion too! Thanks for watching :)

I own the Klipsch 2.1 computer speakers. I wonder how the sound quality compares.
