I have this aspect in a significant relationship where I am the Moon. This explanation resonated a lot. There are certainly cultural differences as we are from different countries however we still were compatible on a lot of levels at the time. But we were too young and at the end of the day the Saturn person suddenly switched on me and chose a different path, so to say. He was/is too immature to really handle a relationship and I stood my ground and maintained my independence despite us having a true bond and soulmate connection. Otherwise it had the potential to be a long-term relationship. We have an almost exact to the minute South Node - Sun conjunction in synastry and a bunch of other solid aspects.

My experience with this aspect between different people, is that the Moon person is highly manipulative, and the Saturn person is bonded obligated responsible to the point of being abused, because Saturn hangs in there, while the Moon pushes buttons where the Moon gets what it needs, TAKES what it needs, it is a selfish Moon person abusing the blind loyalty of a steady Saturn victim, literally victim, it is a life draining narc vs unsuspecting victim, in a bond no less, but in the end i have seen several relationships where Saturn sank and Moon went full gear into draining the life out of next victim. Sharp Moon 150 to Saturn, and it was manipulative from the Moon, and nothing but loyal trust from the Saturn.

Me and my husband have this and I meet my own emotional needs bc I want to anyway but he’s overly emotional but we have other things with the moon I don’t make much effort bc he’s too much my mars is also opposite his moon my Jupiter is also opposite his moon his moon I’m my 8th house
