I have Saturn quincunxes to Venus and the moon! I’m 47 and my life and relationships have been exactly as you’ve explained, emotionally abusive. Now I’m single and trying to build my self worth. I’m not afraid of dying, I know that I’ve been here many times before and will be many times more and this life is a challenging one that I have to learn from and grow although it has taken me until recently to realise this. Thank you for this video, I have many challenging aspects in my chart that I’ll be looking at your videos for knowledge.

I have this aspect exact. I never saw it as a problem, until I watched this. I laughed at your analogies... It's so true. And making people jump through hoops is definitely not my forte. Thank you Jewel ❤️

I have natal Venus opposite Saturn AND Uranus… YIKES!!! I'd love to hear THAT interpretation because I could identify with everything you said in this video so intensely it was SCARY.. I've attracted so many takers, users and narcissistic types with soooooo much entitlement that I'm now actively trying to force myself into my Aries NN just to feel comfortable enough to stand firm, assert myself, state what I want, what I need… or even stand alone if need be.. I won't lie, these energies can be agonisingly painful… along with my Venus - Chiron conjunction (but that's another story Lol) Great video, Jewel!

Girl I can relate so deeply to everything you said. My Venus is inconjunct Saturn and Opposite Uranus and Mars Conjuncts the NN. Our aspects are slightly different, yet the energy sounds nearly identical.

My bf has this aspect, exact to degree and even minute. Definitely has issues from both parents growing up. At first it worked well between us cause we both loved our freedom so it never got too close. But the more one is trying to go emotionally connect and be vulnerable the more he seems to run away from it. Been struggling for many years to have him open up, and I say that as someone who was Venus saturn square natally (but with few degrees orb). So I know how it feels but he is at a whole other level. I know he loves me so I just try to be as unconditional as I possibly can but it does get hard. The wall is constantly up.

I have Venus in the 7th square Saturn in the 4th house. I feel like everything talked in this video shows more obvious way for a square than the subtle way for inconjunction. When I was a teenager, my parents were always swearing at me and calling nasty names of me. No respect. I wouldn't think I was not worthy their love & respect but felt furious. Then I started swearing too, calling them by their full names and even gave them nick names. No respect at all and I thought they were deserved. I would argue with them about things they're not satisfied with me and sometimes I would win. I'm a rebellion and I will stand up for myself in front of parents, authorities, lovers, friends when I feel I'm treated unfairly. I don't fear to lose my job, my lovers or my friends. In fact I choose to leave them most of time. I have realized long ago the security is from inside not from them or a job.

This really hit home with me. I'm in a career field that was handed to me, I don't love the job but I took it because "who else would hire me" I'm am the "child" of my work friends, they have to parent me, and I hold myself back from being their equal, and make myself work really hard just to be acceptable (but never quite equal)

I have Venus inconjunct in Saturn and I find this very accurate. I also got Venus trine Ascendant (Libra). I think there's a beautiful balance going on. :)
    Thank you for sharing.
"We get exactly what we don't want by doing what we think is the right thing - do you see how this works? We can't use the past pain in the present to create something other in the future than the past. We always get what we're trying to avoid. Saturn is the most convincing story about that that we have, because it makes it so believable, that by following those thoughts, following those fears, those paranoias, we are going to avoid some element of death. We have to meet those fears." - 21:23

Omg you are so on point...
    - I have an irational fear of death, especially the death of my partner.
    - I always depended financially and emotionaly on my partners. Its the only way I feel secure.
    - I always tended to have big age gap relationship. My partner is 23 years older than me and there is a strong co dependency between us. He became dependant on me with time... We feel like we are fated to be with each other.
    - The only female friends I made are somewhat distant and masculine. I can't seem to have good relatioship with women. (I also have saturn square moon and a cold and abusive mother).
    - I feel like a failure in the "career department" of my life, I can't achieve what I want, especially with earning enough money to be self sufficient. I have too much of a "housewife" mentality to be persistent enough in that area. (Even though my 4th house is empty..)
    - But I dont feel like I give it all to my partner, on the contrary, if my needs are not met, then I can withdraw. And I am very careful, too much in fact, that the other will respect me and not hurt me. There is a strong fear of being disrespected in my relationships. So I am super cautious, but to the point that it makes it impossible for me to "go with the flow". (But thats probably my moon square saturn in this case..)
    - I also recognize myself in the incapacity of being happy and satisfied with the present. But I also feel like the distant future is going to be worse (Saturn pessimism ?). Life just feels like an exhausting battle to just be kinda okay and surviving.

Jung could have used the archetype for Saturn as the character "Scrooge" in "A Christmas Carol." Scrooge is stingy, selfish. As well as what Jewel articulates, a difficult Saturn connected to personal planets can make the person self absorbed, selfish. The glass seems 80% empty, not even close to half full. I've had several Venus/Saturn relationships, with people with squares or oppositions and the element of selfishness or shallowness was apparent, and no matter how I tried to bolster the self-worth of the person, it was hard for them to believe they were "worthy." The woman I loved more than anyone I have EVER loved my whole life for 63 years - and who trusted only me, since we grew up together (cousins) - once said, "you've looked at my chart, haven't you?" And we never lied to each other, so I said, "Of course, I have. I wanted to know what made you doubt yourself so much." It turned out to be Saturn/Mars and Saturn/Sun aspects. With her, i could make suggestions how to think differently, but only because she TRUSTED me. We'd been babies together and we just loved each other unconditionally. I adored her and she never doubted that if I told her something, there was merit to what I said. If you have a Saturnian person (Sun/Saturn, Moon/Saturn/, Venus/Saturn, you will have to convince them ad infinite that they are worthy. It's not enough to say, "I love you" because they'll doubt that they deserve it. The downside is: they want a guarantee from you, but due to their innate selfishness, they do not offer the same guarantee of unconditional love back to you. Tough aspect. REAL tough. I'm gay, and I've had several boyfriends with this, and it is hard to get thru to them. Depending on the rest of the chart (a nice jupiter trine Pluto aspect does a great deal towards enlightenment and they can more easily hear what you have to say, especially if it is enlightening. Jupiter/Pluto trines and textiles can hear a spiritually "higher' morality/ethical statement and instantly grasp its value. IT IS AN ASPECT OF INFINITE ENLIGHTENMENT. It's far easier to talk to "Saturns" if you have this aspect in your own chart.
I don't know Jewel, but you could find out if she does your chart if you have this or not.
And NO, I'm definitely not on her payroll. I'm more her competitor, but I love how she combines psychology and astrology to make it make sense. Many astrologers cannot do this. Make no mistake, she covers even the "well, what if ...this planet is involved" as she did in her brilliant Pluto square Mars video, where she points out that if someone's Mars is in Pisces (the martyr), that person will be much more cooperative than if the person has Mars in say...Sagittarius in TRINE to Pluto. That person will be MUCH more a powerhouse (in fact, that aspect is like HAVING Mars in Scorpio due to Mars being in favorable aspect to Pluto in the natal chart).
Do more videos, Jewel. Inconjuncts, squares, oppositions and conjunctions to Saturn (I think you did that one!) and then the malefic: Mars and Pluto. Throw in a few nice ones like Venus trine Venus! (A "True Love" aspect in synastry. Also known as the "Romeo and Juliet" aspect).

My Venus is Cancer 2nd house & Saturn Sagittarius 7th house. I have Venus inconjunct Saturn.
This explanation gave me a lot of much needed advice to break free internally and externally dealing with my relationship dynamics with mycellf and others and creating my own stability and security for ultimate freedom and release of the feeling of being burdened by the responsibilities of others.
I'm overly giving and I'm tired of hurting because of my own lack of cellf love and care. Thank you so much for this! #newsubbie🌚♋♍❤️

I have Saturn Venus square too. And had a big father issue growing up, not feeling loved by him and it was like a red thread all throughout my life trying to find love and not really feeling worthy of it because of my childhood experience with my dad. So you accept a Lot of bs which other people would never put up with. I think finally I managed all of this, but it took me over 40 years. The interesting thing is that my bf has Saturn Venus inconjunct and I have similar bday as his mum, one day apart, and he has very similar energies as my dad in his chart, also my dad and his bday are one day apart. So we Are both learning to resolve the issues with not being loved the way we needed from dad/mom growing up within this relationship.

Jewel, I just realized recently that I have a Venus/Saturn sesqui-quadrate. Would you suggest the same advice?

    • @JewelMayberry
      @JewelMayberry  7 лет назад +2

+K Kerrigan it likely won't be as pronounced as the actual inconjunction. Sesquiquadrates are closer to the square in expression and are more subtle in the problems they create. The plan we put into action regarding how to get love or increase our worldly worth is what causes the friction.
