So true! My moon is in scorpio I had a difficult childhood with a fiery narcissistic mother who still tries to control me now . I used to be very reactive and defensive, nowadays I stop think try to acess a situation, and let any negativity go , as a result I am much calmer emotionally, I am much more relaxed, trusting my intuition more and realising that everyone is different and my mother? She hasn't changed but I no longer let her negativity get to me , so although we will never have a close bond with each other I have let all resentment go , she will always try to control others but no longer has the same control over me and my sister. I have a very close connection to my children as does my sister to hers , our children avoid their grandmother, because she feels she has to control them too . Very sad really that my mother hasn't learned from her mistakes. I have had to accept that you can't help anyone that doesn't want to be helped. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. My partner has this aspect in her chart (Leo Moon) and I must say, WOW! You really hit the nail on the head. Right down to the fiery, problematic mother. My partner has a really beautiful heart and an almost child-like level of naïveté. She’s hurt me a lot over the years but it was usually not intentional and she was almost always oblivious of it. She’s even oblivious of her controlling, jealous and possessive tendencies which was/is incredibly irritating. My Sun is in Cancer and Mars in Scorpio, when I hurt someone, it’s usually intentional but I normally won’t instigate the fight. I prefer to be very loving and conscientious until I have good reason not to be. Working on it, theres no need to defend myself of everything i believe or feel is unfair, the first thing is to get out of the toxic relationship with the parent, which is most likely to happened once you are an adult after years of abuse and already have formed the reactiveness, but the change is possible!! This was right on point! You nailed it! My ex has this aspect in the sign of Pisces, and because of that he perceived a lot of wrongs being done to him. Another words his imagination was his worst enemy. Most of the time I had no idea what he was talking about when he said I hurt his feelings , but he was so convincing I would end up apologizing anyway. I think having this aspect in pisces made him react in a very covert way instead of overtly aggressive, but even so the reaction was very over the top. I was shaking my head the whole time. Now I have an opposition between Moon and Mars(Cancer Moon/2nd house Capricorn Mars/8th house) and I am very emotionally reactive because I feel like my feeling are not being heard. My mom was a dramatic narcissist at the time. She will say mean things to me, lots of cursing and things like that and be unapologetic for it, but she will get angry/rageful and cause arguments over some really stupid shit 🤦♂️ (probably because of her Mars opposite Pluto aspect). Because of this, I somewhat adopted the angry behavior. I’m learning over the years that not every women(I said women because Moon is a feminine energy) is a drama queen and is emotionally immature like her, so it makes me less hot-headed and angry. Haha, yes. I have this almost exact, Moon-Mars-Jupiter in the 1st degree of Gemini. I think having Jupiter there helps with looking outside of myself and trying to calm down, but I am still pretty rough and impatient, and yes, defensive. But something that I think is worth mentioning is that often it could be that people with this conjunction go through some kind of violence and/or volatility while growing up. I know I have.

Moon in virgo conjunct with mars(R) in libra. Not very hot-headed signs, but still I have been known to explode from time to time (not often), the posture thing- spot on. Hard to swallow, but this was all pretty much accurate :( the number one thing I’ve been working on in therapy is NOT reacting out of anxiety or insecurity and just sitting w the icky feeling instead. If you share your thoughts on smth. which differs from what she has accepted as right she can close her ears and go to another room and close the door and leave you there as a fool as if you attacked her... Very offensive. She also do not work with her character. Emotional outbursts. sometimes she search for people to spit fer emotions out to. Search for victims. F.ex. ask you for a dinner to reliese her anxiety and frustration she produces insiide. And it is not possible to talk over this as she gets highly agressive-defensive. So people around are victims. We have nowhere to run and impossible to talk about it - you will get even more afective agressive defence. It is traumatic to family members of such person.

I did need this amount of inner force to not succumb to her desire to kill. People see me as almost too docile these days, but I know the strength is inside. The more I study astrology, the more things I see that can be taken quite literally as well as interpretive. Example is my son has sun conj Venus in Taurus. I’m a Libra. His moon and mars are in cancer. I have an Aries moon. Although his moon and mars aren’t technically conjunct, we are both very fiery! Like two peas in a pod!
You described this aspect exactly. This is not a fun aspect. With Virgo, it can be quite caustic. Not a pretty sight. I am wondering how this is impacted by the 8th house? In my personal experience, early childhood conditioning seems to go hand and hand with this aspect. This is an excellent interpretation of this. This was like looking in a magnifying mirror.

Wow. So I looked this aspect up because my son has this, however he has it out of sign. He has Capricorn Mars at 1 degree and Moon in Sagittarius 21 degrees. Maybe the orb is too wide to be considered a conjunction, but it came up in a free chart generator. Oddly enough, I surprisingly related to this video even though I don't have this aspect (moon in Sagittarius at 7 degrees, Mars in cancer 14 degrees). The whole mother description is my Aries narcissist parent. I'm hella confused and also appreciate Jewel's sharing of her insight.

This is my closest aspect in Virgo. I'm trying to let go of my perfectionism while keeping a healthy work ethic :P For a long time, I didn't understand how I was being insensitive to others. My thought process was: "Wow, look at all of this room for improvement! Let's work on it" But, a lot of the time it comes across as... not that, lol This is very accurate. Mines is more aggravated easily not so. So more angry. But when I do get angry it's just crazy . When you're older late 20s first Saturn return you learn when to react and when not
I have this aspect in Taurus (square my sun). It's got better with age but when I was younger people would say I would periodically 'explode' like a ticking time-bomb either due to a perceived slight or my needs not being met. I lost a lot of friends and family due to this. The problem with moon conjunct mars being in Taurus is that the energy is frustrated, blocked and delayed. You have to work very hard to find solutions and get needs met. Unfortunately I can also be left in situations where I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't. If I try to change my circumstances using soft strength and the usual channels the efforts almost always fail and I'm ignored by the world - if I go ape and 'smash things up' I do sometimes get a result but my approach is too aggressive and over-the-top, and eggs often get broken in the process so the triumph comes at an unsatisfying emotional cost. Often the only way to actually get a result is, sadly, to explode and find a release. However there is a lack of control when that happens. I'm envious of people who I perceive have the power and poise to smoothly get what they want at every turn, although I'm not sure such people really exist since on deeper inspection they often also complain of never getting what they want... I'm a lot better at not taking things personally since taking up meditating many years ago. It is still a very frustrating placement. I'm not sure what in my childhood made it so. I think it was because my parents were very controlling but in a subtle way. My mum worshipped my dad and the rest of us felt secondary. My parents also wore my sister and I down slowly using velvet glove power moves. So you couldn't really mount a defence. As a result we both have issues - especially my sister though. They were all about them and their great successes. We were just acutrements and little trophies for them to display as part of the empire they were building. They never treated us as anywhere near their equals or persons with our own identities and different needs. It sounds moany to complain but at a guess that is what caused it.

Family & boyfriends are the only things that can usually drive me THAT crazy these days but a low level of irritability is always somewhat there. I've seen myself do the "come here/go away" thing even w/ my pets!! ugh. So true about crushes and breakups! Moon, Mars, Saturn, and Ketu stellium in Gemini 10th house. As I have reached my mid-40's my 'quick -to-react-ness' has mellowed some. Some. With an Aries sun 8th house, I have had issues in the past with reacting first and thinking later. Not a good thing. I'm happy that I've learned techniques to help me think before speaking, sending a text message or email that I may regret tomorrow. Counting to 10 (more if necessary) and realizing that my emotional triggers are mine alone and must be dealt with accordingly is a process in constantly and consistently working through. I have moon in Capricorn(Aries duad/degree) conjunct my Mars in Sagittarisu (Very late degrees) and although its 12 degrees wide, I still feel this VERY strongly !!! i have scorpio moon conjunct libra mars so i feel like it comes out through passion. but these two combined are certainly interesting to deal with. i'm not as outwardly fiery as you'd expect, it's usually very contained because of my mars and that can get a bit much for me to handle. but the positive aspect of it is that i can be very passionate (scorpio) especially when it comes to injustices (libra) and can channel that energy to try to help others as much as i can

Working on it, theres no need to defend myself of everything i believe or feel is unfair, the first thing is to get out of the toxic relationship with the parent, which is most likely to happened once you are an adult after years of abuse and already have formed the reactiveness, but the change is possible!! I was shaking my head the whole time. Now I have an opposition between Moon and Mars(Cancer Moon/2nd house Capricorn Mars/8th house) and I am very emotionally reactive because I feel like my feeling are not being heard. My mom was a dramatic narcissist at the time. She will say mean things to me, lots of cursing and things like that and be unapologetic for it, but she will get angry/rageful and cause arguments over some really stupid shit 🤦♂️ (probably because of her Mars opposite Pluto aspect). Because of this, I somewhat adopted the angry behavior. I’m learning over the years that not every women(I said women because Moon is a feminine energy) is a drama queen and is emotionally immature like her, so it makes me less hot-headed and angry. Haha, yes. I have this almost exact, Moon-Mars-Jupiter in the 1st degree of Gemini. I think having Jupiter there helps with looking outside of myself and trying to calm down, but I am still pretty rough and impatient, and yes, defensive. But something that I think is worth mentioning is that often it could be that people with this conjunction go through some kind of violence and/or volatility while growing up. I know I have.

You cannot find a normal healthy person to talk to, to contact, to sometimes understand me,listen, accept that I am not like her and so I am not wrong if I am not as her and have some different oppinions. + she is deeply irrational in her actions led by emotiomal affects, Plainly unfair with having favorites and unloved ones. If you share your thoughts on smth. which differs from what she has accepted as right she can close her ears and go to another room and close the door and leave you there as a fool as if you attacked her... Very offensive. She also do not work with her character. Emotional outbursts. sometimes she search for people to spit fer emotions out to. Search for victims. F.ex. ask you for a dinner to reliese her anxiety and frustration she produces insiide. And it is not possible to talk over this as she gets highly agressive-defensive. So people around are victims. We have nowhere to run and impossible to talk about it - you will get even more afective agressive defence. It is traumatic to family members of such person.

The more I study astrology, the more things I see that can be taken quite literally as well as interpretive. Example is my son has sun conj Venus in Taurus. I’m a Libra. His moon and mars are in cancer. I have an Aries moon. Although his moon and mars aren’t technically conjunct, we are both very fiery! Like two peas in a pod!
You described this aspect exactly. This is not a fun aspect. With Virgo, it can be quite caustic. Not a pretty sight. I am wondering how this is impacted by the 8th house? In my personal experience, early childhood conditioning seems to go hand and hand with this aspect. This is an excellent interpretation of this. This was like looking in a magnifying mirror.

Wow. So I looked this aspect up because my son has this, however he has it out of sign. He has Capricorn Mars at 1 degree and Moon in Sagittarius 21 degrees. Maybe the orb is too wide to be considered a conjunction, but it came up in a free chart generator. Oddly enough, I surprisingly related to this video even though I don't have this aspect (moon in Sagittarius at 7 degrees, Mars in cancer 14 degrees). The whole mother description is my Aries narcissist parent. I'm hella confused and also appreciate Jewel's sharing of her insight.

I have this aspect in Taurus (square my sun). It's got better with age but when I was younger people would say I would periodically 'explode' like a ticking time-bomb either due to a perceived slight or my needs not being met. I lost a lot of friends and family due to this. The problem with moon conjunct mars being in Taurus is that the energy is frustrated, blocked and delayed. You have to work very hard to find solutions and get needs met. Unfortunately I can also be left in situations where I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't. If I try to change my circumstances using soft strength and the usual channels the efforts almost always fail and I'm ignored by the world - if I go ape and 'smash things up' I do sometimes get a result but my approach is too aggressive and over-the-top, and eggs often get broken in the process so the triumph comes at an unsatisfying emotional cost. Often the only way to actually get a result is, sadly, to explode and find a release. However there is a lack of control when that happens. I'm envious of people who I perceive have the power and poise to smoothly get what they want at every turn, although I'm not sure such people really exist since on deeper inspection they often also complain of never getting what they want... I'm a lot better at not taking things personally since taking up meditating many years ago. It is still a very frustrating placement. I'm not sure what in my childhood made it so. I think it was because my parents were very controlling but in a subtle way. My mum worshipped my dad and the rest of us felt secondary. My parents also wore my sister and I down slowly using velvet glove power moves. So you couldn't really mount a defence. As a result we both have issues - especially my sister though. They were all about them and their great successes. We were just acutrements and little trophies for them to display as part of the empire they were building. They never treated us as anywhere near their equals or persons with our own identities and different needs. It sounds moany to complain but at a guess that is what caused it.

Family & boyfriends are the only things that can usually drive me THAT crazy these days but a low level of irritability is always somewhat there. I've seen myself do the "come here/go away" thing even w/ my pets!! ugh. So true about crushes and breakups! Moon, Mars, Saturn, and Ketu stellium in Gemini 10th house. As I have reached my mid-40's my 'quick -to-react-ness' has mellowed some. Some. With an Aries sun 8th house, I have had issues in the past with reacting first and thinking later. Not a good thing. I'm happy that I've learned techniques to help me think before speaking, sending a text message or email that I may regret tomorrow. Counting to 10 (more if necessary) and realizing that my emotional triggers are mine alone and must be dealt with accordingly is a process in constantly and consistently working through. I have moon in Capricorn(Aries duad/degree) conjunct my Mars in Sagittarisu (Very late degrees) and although its 12 degrees wide, I still feel this VERY strongly !!! i have scorpio moon conjunct libra mars so i feel like it comes out through passion. but these two combined are certainly interesting to deal with. i'm not as outwardly fiery as you'd expect, it's usually very contained because of my mars and that can get a bit much for me to handle. but the positive aspect of it is that i can be very passionate (scorpio) especially when it comes to injustices (libra) and can channel that energy to try to help others as much as i can
