It’s 2024. After the series and the films were Jean was always being the victim, the producers had to keep up with the times and write better material for the character.

Jean may not be Nathen's biological mother, but that won't stop her being a mom. It's cute and funny.
She is actually also his biological mother, since Madelyn was created from her, they share the same DNA, and Nathan has Jean’s DNA, meaning that both Jean and Madelyn are both his bio moms.
She literally is her biological mother. His DNA is hers.
She is not her physical mother tho.

@@ligeiasiren4290 No Jean is Cable's genetic mother, not biological since he wasn't born from her directly. It's like saying if your mom has an identical twin sister and saying she's your biological mom too. No despite being genetically being your mom, she's still your aunt.

They made all the characters MUCH cooler while sacrificing Wolverine's presence in the show with his funny one liners. I still love it ngl.
They're just giving Wolverine a well deserved rest. He's been carrying this franchise for years now. It's about time the rest of the team had some time to shine.
Season 2 will be Wolverine's time since Omega Red woke up from his chamber. The weapon X reunion with Maverick will be exciting
Wolverine taken over the film franchise was the worst thing that happened to the X men. Everything was about him and most of the team got sidelined. I’ve got zero notes on how then writers using the characters

Remember rewatching TAS a few years back and thought it was badly missing a more mature action sequences. This is what I've wanted since being a adult and Marvel did this series justice. How does Marvel hit a home run on this but strike out on so much?

Best show in tv. Feels like old MCU in a cartoon. Heavy action. Cool storylines. Our favorite characters actually using their powers on a regular basis. It’s childhood all over again baby!

He has no psionic powers with the Techno-Organic virus. They explained it already, the virus changes his DNA removing his mutant powers giving him Technopathic powers instead
If he loses TK focus on containing the TO virus for even a second, he'll almost immediately die
Jean was useless in the entire original show, let her show potential like in the comics.
Because of that original show people think Jean is a damsel in distress.
@AifDaimon He can still maintain his focus on containing the techno-organic virus and use both his telepathy and telekinesis. This has been shown on many occasions in the comics. So yeah, they nerfed him here.

It’s hard to say which part of this episode was the best, the lady releasing Magneto and he got to unleash his full power, seeing a surprise cameo of heroes and villains or Professor X finally coming back home, on some real shit this episode was like Secret Invasion remember the conversation Talos and Nick had on the train when he told him there’s a million Skrulls here on earth, it seems like there’s a million sentinel variants they have to deal with

The Director of Deadpool and Wolverine was clear he didn't want it to be a part of anything set by them. They didn't like the idea of having to do homework to watch the movie, in other words, not watching the MCU to have to get it.

Such a dumb scene only to show two vehicles getting destroyed which was totally unnecessary. Jean Grey could've kept them all afloat while inside the force field, telekinetically controlled the Sentinels so that they attacked each other, or just dismantled them. For non-comic book readers, this is what we call PIS or Plot-Induced Stupidity. What was the reason for making Jean act like this? Simple. It was so Magneto could get his moment in the final scene.
