A thing many people(even movies) ignore is that all war is about is formations, and the formations don't just disappear once they charge in battle. But I love that about your videos!
damn i love this, i just hope they'll be able to fix those animations on trolls attacks, the impact of the force should launch soldiers in the air. watching them just smash without any interaction actually hurts a bit. But we all know this is just a work in progress

One thing total war needs to improve is the animations when infantry charges into infantry. To charge then just stop in front of them and start fighting is dumb. They should make it look like their actually plowing into the line.
For the goblins, this fight was doomed to failure. The strength of the horde is in unity with trolls, urukhai orcs, wolf riders, archers and flying units.
Dwarves: Our warriors are skilled. Our armor is heavy steel. Our shields are broad and thick. Goblins: I'm wearing a scrap of cloth, carrying a knife, using a nightstand top as a shield. I think we've got this!

I have TATW, these mods are so well done that I dont really see the difference between game engines for the LOTR games. Med 2 mod is very well made as well.
It's too bad that the Dwarven did not have a better leader. Dain lost the war before the battle started!!!!! He did not go into battle to win and lost a skilled superior army to an inferior army!!!!! It's obvious that Lord Dain did not do his homework; knowing the numerical strength of the enemy!!! and having a backup plan.

Facing a grate number of enemies have to choose not the open field but a narrow passage!!!! That happen when the 300 Spartans with Leonidas facing the 10000 Persians!!!!

the orcs can be very affective, but only with manpower and more smart tactics, they did quite a good job here.
Always the punster, "Victory is MINE!" exclaimed a bloody and exhausted Dain as the dwarves ambled into Moria.
The Dwarwes: Strong, sturdy, powerful, covered in steel... But very gentle: when marching in the fields, not a straw of grass was stomped.
I'll insta-upvote anything that has LOTR in it, regardless of faction or whoever wins

Dwarves of any fictional tale are good in my books ,their technology and armour ,put them above the rest in my opinion
1:30 Goblins are Orcs and vice versa. It's an interchangeable term. There is no distinguishable difference.
