Add a wooden floor and modify the motor Mount to accommodate the motor, you will find that the Seahawk will be a more useful fishing craft.

That is exactly what I'm hoping for!

Extend the poles from the mount out to the oar hole and secure.
It will give more brace from the center of the raft / leverage to keep the motor more straight up and down when applying torque

Thought about doing this exact thing recently, but the weight of this outboard is still simply too much for it to hold steadily and puts too much pressure on the outer inflatable chamber. I did find a solution though.. which I will share very soon! I'm building my own transom that's mounted directly on a floor I also made lol

I didn't look at this closely enough. I went with the 52 cc motor too and also slightly under inflated the boat. I did'n't bring gas, just a test in the water of the mount. I am going to try a better inflation of the Seahawk 3 and ALSO tie my Baywatch type Rescue Can (pontoon orange) which is my normal flotation device in Texas to the bottom point of the U of the motor mount. That may make the margin between sinking and even. Also the friction of motion may push the rescue can back and thus the motor up straight. At 1:04 in your video imagine an orange pontoon just under the U shape. I am also going to check cheeper options the usual Bouys that float along docs, styrpphome, etc., under that u shape possibilities

kickboard for swimming training just under the engine mount, something like that Say a $20 floation board might just make the marginal difference.

Thanks. I did mount the rescue can under the Transome but sand from the beach in the throttle cable ended boat usage for now. It turns out that is a simple cable run easy to replace. It is sort of taking the raft into a tweak, but another muliti problem solution I am considering is a half a sheet of fencing (cut in half the long way) to form an A Frame cab-over-frame to it under the low pressure inflatable raft "cab." Like 4 wd drive vehicles this creates a tough underbody that can land on beaches, hold engine thrust to the whole boat, etc.,

I have seen people put the mounting bars further out so there less flexing on the oars holes with custom aluminum bars

Yes, I have those about doing this exact thing recently, but the weight of this outboard is still simply too much for it to hold steadily and puts too much pressure on the outer inflatable chamber. I did find a solution though.. which I will share very soon!

Drill the 2 marked holes so the mounting board/plate of the motor mount sits about 4/5 inches higher and sell your gas motor and buy electric, much more peaceful and practical for an inflatable 👍
