The Darkness is Rock and Roll and that's the point. I'm amazed at how much this band has endured and grown. Considering I'm near 50 and I grew up to the same music obviously because I fkn LOVE The Darkness! Epic musicians and they all seem to be exceptional human beings. Long Live The Darkness! One of the last true Rock Bands! "For those about to Rock...We salute you!" ;)

Justin seems to have some brightness back in his voice, sounds almost as bright like two first albums.:)
He has never missed the brightness, he lost in all these years the vocal definition (like in the first and second album). He should stop smoking cigarettes or almost change to smoking electronic cigarettes.
My dad introduced me to The Darkness when i was about 5 years old. He played in a band as a guitarist and he'd always practice and play your songs on his e-guitar. Id sit on his chair and watch the music videos. Pure nostalgia hits me watching them. So excited to see you in Munich next year! Keep rockin'!!

One Way Ticket is a very good album. It was overlooked mainly just because it was released after hugely popular Permission To Land and didn't reach
multi-platinum. But still sounds good in these days.
One way ticket’s amazing. The production (to my layman’s ears) is stellar. We used to call it Queen’s second coming, but it was still totally the Darkness. I think that “the industry” expected them to be this comedy band and so when they instead got a great great rock album it didn’t fit the box they put them in and they couldn’t handle it. It’s genuinely bloody solid rock n roll.
