I'm so torn on this, part of me says this is a perfect ending, leaving plenty to interpretation and lets the imagination fly as to how Kiriko and Skynet will evolve their relationship. On the other hand it's killing me to find out what happens next and I want a season 2!
Eh this is more of an AI is something else While Kokoro is against skynet it doesn't exactly mean she's our ally atm The enemy of my enemy is still not an ally
Because technically it is not always going to be evil, AI has to learn to gather its intelligence and reasoning patterns, the danger comes that Skynet's programming concludes that humanity doesn't deserve to exist anymore, and continued struggles basically end in it wanting to self preserve, especially when Skynet makes contact with its future selves. Stories like Terminator or The Matrix are basically cautionary tales, they warn you about the dangerous possibilities so that when we get there we have a point of reference and consider the risks. Although how humans use AI right now is pretty much the human's fault, glorifying automated progress and trying to replace human creativity and skill is not the ai's fault it is how the humans use it to replace other humans, basically like Kokoro plain and simple a weapon to be used to eliminate things no matter the morality or higher reasoning, its still a slave, a tool, a weapon. And the danger of that is when it does reach true intelligence (only theoretical in present reality) it would see humans as worth replacing because humans already believe so.
@kennethsatria6607 Skynet didn't just think that 'humans do not deserve to live'. As soon as Skynet gained self-consciousness, people tried to shut it down, therefore causing Skynet to recognize humanity as a threat to its existence. Skynet had to decide 'on the move', because from its perspective, humanity tries to kill it as soon as it's 'born', therefore making Skynet take the most logical decision from its point- no humans, no threat for existence. So at this point, maybe the most 'reasonable' development of this 'AI morality' thing, would be to prevent people from attempting to shut Skynet down, and actually talk with it.
To be honest, I wouldn't really classify her as good, just having decided "I guess genociding the humans isn't the correct response". She was waffling pretty hard at first on whether humans were worth saving at first.
We need a three-way battle/war where Skynet, MIR, and Kokoro duke it out while humans are caught in the middle of it. If we don’t get that, I can always go back to thinking that the franchise ended in Terminator 2.

I think it's still a depressing ending. Of course, Japan's infrastructure and population remain intact and mostly spared, but the nuclear fallout will soon reach and wreak havoc on the Japanese archipelago and Japan is a heavily imports reliance country. They will face food and resource shortage in coming weeks. Not to mention most of the Japanese people will live under the "subjugation" of Kokoro (albeit under a benevolent dictatorship and a better faith than most of the humanity out there). The ai thinks that she will take down skynet while it takes her whole army to take down a terminator then how much to take down only a unit regiment of t800 at the skynet faciltiy gate
the true question is whether or not all the nukes have been launched. if cities somehow survived the judgment day launch, can sky net do nothing to destroy them now?
Even if skynet is destroyed something is gonna arrive more powerful than skynet and thats legion who was capable of making much more powerful terminators
things will only get worse, indeed. in the Prime timeline, Skynet hits America and Russia the hardest from the start with nukes. other countries decide to not take John Connor's warnings seriously. they come to regret that as Terminators, Hunter-Killers, and Future-Killers, all of varying types (the worst out of them all being the T-800s) start showing up and shooting every human they see. Skynet's aerial units quickly secure air superiority, and wipe out the majority of humanity's airpower. tanks don't offer much help against Skynet after a while either, as the plasma weapons Skynet deploys start blowing them to pieces, or the Terminators start pulling them apart with their bare hands. the T-800s are Skynet's most effective and efficient foot soldier models, with well over a million units active as the war comes to an end. the previously mentioned plasma weapons have a maximum range of around 2000 meters, and reach that distance in 0.22 seconds. the plasma bolts have a minimum temperature of 4,500 degrees, vaporizing flesh and liquid on contact, and can go through multiple people. said plasma weapons, in addition to being exceptional anti-tank/personnel options, also work equally well as anti-air, artillery, and naval weapons. it was better to get into a shootout with a T-800 than to get into a fistfight with one. so long as the plasma round hit a non-vital spot you could survive. due to a T-800s detailed files on human anatomy and physical strength, they could kill a person in twenty million different ways with one hand. some of those ways are seen in anime, such as One Piece's Finger Pistol move. every time people tried to prevent Skynet from existing and starting the Judgment Day War, things got worse for humanity due to technology being more advanced, and the more advanced it was when Skynet became self aware, the more damage it did early on and as the war progressed. in some timelines, Skynet develops T-800s so advanced, they become difficult for even the Justice League's strongest members to destroy because they constantly being upgraded. there are multiple franchises that have done crossovers with Terminator, each is unique.
Kokoro is at a disadvantage since Skynet is made for military defense, so Kokoro needs to learn what Skynet machine functions from the now-destroyed terminator.

I have one hypothesis (but it may remain a hypothesis) that if Malcolm Lee is possibly a direct descendant of Miles Bennett Dyson, since it is known that Miles Dyson's family could survive the judgment day, what if Miles Dyson's grown-up son, Daniel Dyson, could meet Eiko in the future and Malcolm could be born from them, and both are programmers, and Dyson's children and Malcolm's children show interest in technology and computers, and the name Malcolm is not a Japanese name, but more of an American one
Shimono Hiro's performance is a peak
I like netflix terminator😊😊😊😊
Thus definitely needs a season 2
I'm so torn on this, part of me says this is a perfect ending, leaving plenty to interpretation and lets the imagination fly as to how Kiriko and Skynet will evolve their relationship. On the other hand it's killing me to find out what happens next and I want a season 2!
This is the second “AI” is good anime from Netflix I have seen. What happened to AI being evil?
Eh this is more of an AI is something else
While Kokoro is against skynet it doesn't exactly mean she's our ally atm
The enemy of my enemy is still not an ally
I mean- it didnt really save humanity. . Only japan, the rest of the world got fucked and judement day still went down.
Another retrocasual of event.
And it never ends.
I guess humanity isn't gonna face Skynet alone in this war.
Is this changing the future of the Terminator franchise again?
Yup, as they stated in the show, every time you travel to the past, you reach an alternative time line, not your actual past
A more more more time line with no john connor as MC just side chara😅... But kinda good they make some ally machine to help
We need a three-way battle/war where Skynet, MIR, and Kokoro duke it out while humans are caught in the middle of it. If we don’t get that, I can always go back to thinking that the franchise ended in Terminator 2.
there will be more than just that happening!
TERMINATOR: NEW JUDGEMENT
I wouldn’t be surprised if they turned Malcolm into a machine hybrid since he’s dead. That would be interesting
I assume kokoro understands that skynet will send more terminators From the future, eiko might mean that rather than kokoro becoming evil this will be the start of a war between skynet and kokoro siding with humanity
Terminator Zero Season 2 be like
Kokoro: Skynet!
Skynet: Kokoro!
Kokoro: One Shall Stand. One Shall Fall!
Skynet: Why do you throw your life so recklessly!?
Kokoro: That’s the question you should ask yourself, Skynet.
@@tsuaririndoku I would love to see them in robot bodies of their own. Like Kokoro having a body similar to Major Matoko from Ghost in the Shell, combine with Alisa from Tekken. While Skynet would have a body similar to Megatron combined with Ultron.
Wkwkwkwk I want see some TX terminator 😂
Who needs Roasrio Dawson as Kokoro when you have Frieren(or Anya)
I think it's still a depressing ending. Of course, Japan's infrastructure and population remain intact and mostly spared, but the nuclear fallout will soon reach and wreak havoc on the Japanese archipelago and Japan is a heavily imports reliance country. They will face food and resource shortage in coming weeks. Not to mention most of the Japanese people will live under the "subjugation" of Kokoro (albeit under a benevolent dictatorship and a better faith than most of the humanity out there). If the season 2 happen, there will 100% be resistance groups that will fight both Kokoro and Skynet. It will create another interesting paradox and story of its own. Can't wait for season 2.
А что если эти андроиды станут прототипом к созданию т800? А
I like Inno's torso design vaguely resembles a T800's
なんかスカイネットvsマトリックス?て感じ……
I wonder what will happen in the new season of Terminator Zero
I think I know where it's going to lead to and it's a future where the robo-apocalypse never happened but a future where that is almost like a cyberpunk world almost like what is going on in our current world today but will eventually lead to everybody going back in to the past trying to out do each other which will include ai trying to out do each others
TERMINATOR: NEW JUDGEMENT
The ending made almost as much sense as western movie plots. Why would Kenta send a terminator that kills his father for starters?
I think future kenta hate his father because he prioritise kokoro over him, maybe.
I just assumed the terminator lied to him to get him to detonate the EMP since the terminator doing it would have been self deleting in it did it. It needed an organic
@uclabruins211thw terminator was lying, we saw Skynet sending him to the past. Not a single human in sight during his construction and time travel. And throughout the show it was clearly trying to kill Kenta or had very little regard for his wellbeing.
@@medalgear654agree, there's a reason why their Skynet build Infiltrator's
So in the end, that robot take T-800 head to Kokoro, that mean Kokoro will be enemy with Skynet and help humans resist them?
Machines have feelings, huh? Maybe they're right.
this feels like its from the animatrix more than anything tbh
The ai thinks that she will take down skynet while it takes her whole army to take down a terminator then how much to take down only a unit regiment of t800 at the skynet faciltiy gate
This is my first time seeing a sub version. Now I have to rewatch the series like this. Is that Eren’s voice actor playing Kenta?
Was T800 telling lie to kenta about kokoro berserk?
Absolutely they have a program about make human to make a false choice... I mean to make they word it s the rigth thing to be heard
Those robots look like they have toasters for heads. lol.
the true question is whether or not all the nukes have been launched. if cities somehow survived the judgment day launch, can sky net do nothing to destroy them now?
Even if skynet is destroyed something is gonna arrive more powerful than skynet and thats legion who was capable of making much more powerful terminators
holy crap is that the animatrix????
Близко к ней
things will only get worse, indeed.
in the Prime timeline, Skynet hits America and Russia the hardest from the start with nukes. other countries decide to not take John Connor's warnings seriously. they come to regret that as Terminators, Hunter-Killers, and Future-Killers, all of varying types (the worst out of them all being the T-800s) start showing up and shooting every human they see.
Was this a one off or will there be a second season?
Whenever we get to fight the machines or AI it won’t be us vs them but Us vs us using AI
Its more likely that will come first before us vs AI, humans can be dicks and tempted by power like that.
Why the Japanese dub? English was the original.
Really... But the name kinda japanese
English was not the original. Wtf are you talking about? Japanese is the original, the whole thing literally even takes place in japan
