Honestly Rachel, from all the tutors that I've watched on youtube, you stand out, they are all good one way or another but you material and techniques you use in addition to mouth movements en reduction is just beyond.

@@rachelsenglish Thank you so much! I was also wondering about a reduction of where which was not covered on the most 100 common words. Is it reduced to wər? like the reduction of we’re. P.S I thought about joining your academy for asking those questions but seems like you don’t take private lessons so I ask here. sorry for inconvenience! Thank you for your lessons again!
Yes! It is for emphasis! All reductions are optional - most native speakers will use them the majority of the time - I would say that it is more common for native speakers to reduce function words than not. But it doesn't happen all of the time - which can make it a little confusing for non-native speakers.

It is really unique english teaching video. i have watched through your videos. you really are great. it is so helpful in speaking smooth English!!!!! thanks for your efforts!!!
@@rachelsenglish I've Just looked through them, but that's not exactly what i meant. What i mean is for you to explain how the phrasal verbs began to exist. Where did they come from? Who first started to use them? I guess i saw somewhere in the past that they emerged from the ancient indians who could not speak English correctly and mixed the words up, but i'm not sure. That would be a good subject in my opinion. Best wishes!
Hi! Practice slowly! Since the V consonant does not require the tongue, it should be relatively easy to move from the V sound to the S consonant - keep practicing slowly and then start speeding up - you'll get there!
