This was not a video - it was a genuine English course ! Thanks a lot - and a baby was coming, meaning that those passages happened some time ago... So, let´s celebrate everything! Peace and prosperity be with you !
Professor Rachel, please pay no att ention to those who try to find fault with you. This world is full of people who feel frustrated because they cannot develop certain talents while others are born with an inborn gift, and you have a natural ability that you use to help others generouly. In fact, you come across as a kind, generous person.

Hi Rachel, how's it going? I hope you're doing well. I am writing this comment to inform you that I improved a lot by watching your videos. So please do not stop making amazing content. Love you from India. ❤
Thank you Rachel ... I'm getting lots of benefits and improvement following your amazing videos ... Wishing you all the best and will congratulate you soon on/for the baby ...
Rachel you are one of the great english teacher, I learned a lot by with your videos, I remember few years ago I couldn't be able to write in english, but I started to watch your videos and look at me now I'm here to leave a comment 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽thank you so much ❤
Professor Rachel, as I watched your video on pronunciation, I thought that it might be a great idea for you to compile all the material in your countless videos into one book and have it published in printed form with accompanying videos. I know it would be a huge project involving much time and and a great deal of painstaking work including planning, drafting, revising, editing, polishing, and perhaps even researching, but it might be worth the effort. It might not be such a good idea after all, but I just wanted to share it with you. I enjoyed your video very much. I also commend you for your videos with the portrayal of a fast runner as a fitting metaphor for the ability to listen to, understand, and respond quickly to fast English. Thanks a million for using your gift for teaching English and helping students to develop a wide range of language skills so successfully. .
Great videos, as always. The only mistake is the use of the wrong IPA symbol for the voiced {th} in bathing, as in 'bathing suit'; the symbol Rachel selected is actually the unvoiced {th}. A minor mistake, though. Rachel, I LOVE your videos!!!
Hello teacher Rachel, I'm from Vietnam. I have watched your videos recently and they are very helpful. I find it difficult to pronounce the cluster dʒ + ed (for example: discouraged) because it easily turns into "dʒ + t". I mean, it's hard to pronounce "dʒ + d" because we have to put the tip of our tongue up a little bit when pronouncing "dʒ", and then we must pronounce "d" quickly by lowering the tip of our tongue down, right? And that's often mistakenly heard like "dʒ+t". Could you make a video to explain it in the near future? I really appreciate your instructions! Wishing you have a good day!
@@rachelsenglish thank you Rachel. I have watched your channel for a couple of years . Also I watch other channels. They are good too . But I think your channel is kind of accurate dictionary . I think it is very unique . By the way I am Chinese . Most speak Chinglish. But I like learning English . Your lessons really helps me a lot . Thanks again Rachel.
There are just 1235 pronunciations of 'onion' that all sound great!😅 'Unyun' 'Unεun' 'Unεyun' 'Uŋyun' 'Uŋyεun' 'Uŋεyun' (7M Fonetik Alfubet). Sometimes we just have to take a laxative and go with a standardized spelling. It's just another way that onions make us cry.
Hello teacher Rachel, I personally appreciate you and what you are striving to do to help people around the world who are struggling with speaking the language. You have such an artistic and creative way of teaching that makes students feel motivated and enthusiastic about English. I can certainly say that you are born to be a teacher. I have been learning English for over a decade, and I can use the language independently and confidently. I know English is one of the hardest languages to master. On the other hand, being able to hold a conversation in English is not that challenging, but mastering it takes a lot of effort and time. Here is the question I have for you today. When it comes to movies, podcasters, and some individuals like Elon Musk, hip-hop artists, and stand-up comedians, their English is sometimes difficult for me to catch the pronunciation of every word they say. I have tried my best to solve this problem, but I can't find anything or anyone. Would you mind helping me out with this problem? What is the real magic to getting the hang of all accents and natives' real-life English? Let me tell you one thing that I surely know. The English you are speaking in all of your videos is entirely understandable for me, and I think this is not the way you speak with your friends and family, right? But what I am really looking for is the English that you use with your native counterparts. When you speak English in your videos, you enunciate every word clearly, and this in turn helps us understand what you say vividly. But the thing is, nobody or no native speaker speaks like that in real-life situations. I am looking forward to hearing your kind and constructive remarks. thank you I am Misganaw from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Thank you! And you're right, it can be challenging to catch all the words of different native speakers. My main suggestion is lots of listening practice! Here are some more tips: ruclips.net/video/OQahH_Jh7Bg/видео.htmlsi=23y0WG4Ov0mtm0Rt
