- This video is not a tutorial or instruction video, it is a mash up of a few clips from the installation process but not all, and it includes a walk through of how to use the Lockers and the Kit. Finally it includes some tests of the TRE4x4 Lockers on the Jimny: open diff, Rear Locked and Twin Locked

The AllGrip system is a Brake Actuated system. Meaning, when one wheel is spinning but the other ON THE SAME AXLE isn’t the computer applies brakes on the spinning wheel and doing so transfers torque to the stationary wheel.
When other brands react quickly to this situation the AllGrip does not. The AllGrip needs 4-5 full turns of the spinning wheel for the computer to apply brakes when other brand only needs fractions of a turn to react.
The AllGrip needs a driver who understands the system. I.e., a driver that are not afraid of 3000-4000 rpm’s when in mud or 2000 rpm’s in low range when rock climbing.
With diff-lockers you can drive way more controlled at way less rpm’s and way less stress.
I have double diff-lockers in my Jimny too, not your brand though.
Double diff-lockers is by far the best modification i have done to date.
@@BorisEkner after driving the car for some time with the lockers, I agree with you. It’s that one mod I have done that I am most satisfied with. The all grip works really well but theres some sticky situations I found with this vehicle on the trails, where one needs precision and can’t have that 4-5 slips before it kicks in and the lockers win all the time in those situations.

Awesome video! That Jimny must be unstoppable with twin lockers 😊. Out of curiosity,how long did your lockers take to arrive after pre-order? Im at 3 months now and still no joy
@@kyleosborne3856 Hi, the twin lockers are amazing. They came quite quick. It’s the one purchase that I don’t regret because i’ve been able to go in places with confidence that i would be nervous about in the past. Also the car is able to crawl up places with less traction easier because the individual wheels are not given a chance to slip.
@@febuilds I've watched your videos and seen what a huge difference it makes being locked up. I'm sure you've put a lot of the Big rigs in their place when tackling the tough stuff 😉. Does it really have a full lsd at the back from factory? . If yes then how does it work in conjunction with thr Blsd/All Grip
@@Touuraab we figured its not a mechanical lsd at the back. A conversation came up in our local jimny tech group and we decided to examine it properly. It just gives the appearance of a mechanical lsd.. but its not.
