@@IIGrayfoxII thanks for commenting on this, reason being, it seems to be a grey area. I was recently at the gas station following the advice not to fill it too much and I met a friend who works at suzuki sa and when he saw me stopping at first click, he told me fill it up full past first click. I think i will do a video on this topic

@@takumi_1 the black one shows scratches easily, I would say the grey and white are better in terms of hiding scratches but the black one looks super cool, if you are like me and you don’t want to scratch it too much then you will end up using it mainly on trails or cover most of the body in stickers so that you can crawl on the rocks with less worry about scratches. I actually like it so much, I am considering trading in one of my other crawlers to get the grey one

@@johnhewitt1096 thanks for the heads up. Theres also a website that does all the calculations for you so you can compare. Im loving my KO2’s, I’ve had them on all my vehicles prior, they last long in my application, I haven’t yet had a tyre rip on the side with the ko2’s, so fingers crossed, hopefully the km3’s will be as durable in the rocky areas. you feel the weight of the 30’s on the car but its a win lose situation, where you lose abit of acceleration you gain in stability.

It feel like there’s not much resistance to be honest, but more tests will be published when i go to the track, I also thought there would be but its not the case, at least in the tests in the video, i’m going to post an update after trying it in more difficult terrain

Hi Sorry for the late response, just wanted to double check with my rc before responding. My two speed transmission servo goes to channel 3 on the receiver. Ch1 is steering, channel 2 esc, channel 3 high low servo. 🙂👊

Yes it goes straight on a full send, a few questions: have you corrected the gyro? Have you checked that there is no play in the steering system? Also check that none of the tyres are loose on the rim or touching anywhere. They must all spin freely. Lastly check if you notice uneven wear on the tyres?

Tested with the Gyro off and on an maybe 10%, swapped the front tries around, sway bars on and off, tested with and without the shell on it and the wear on the tires is even. Adjusted toe in all 3 available positions, even tried a DumboRC DDF-350 (the receiver on it is a dumborc one) to actually see the percentage of trim and the issue is still present. I've submitted a request to banggood for a replacement/repair, I've noticed that from a top view the front right wheel seems to pop out a bit more that the left one. I'm guessing its a manufacturing issue. EDIT: There is play in the steering system but nothing out of the ordinary, there is play on all RCs I've owned, even the big names like Arrma, Traxxas etc.

@@CHRiSzFL best to request a replacement. It may be defective or may have been damaged in transit.

@@febuilds Back with an update, after a lot of tweaking made a ticket to banggood, they advised me to adjust CAMBER of all things. I did that out of curiosity and it seems that was the issue. Front camber made the front right wheel pop out a lot so tightened that. Made it a bit more stable but on full send still pulled. Then noticed the wheels on the back only wearing out on inner rim. They were full negative camber, adjusted that to neutral, still has e tiiiny amount of deviation but with 5% gyro (changed to the DDF350, the receiver is compatible) I can full send it without any worries. This thing is a beast, and fun as hell to make it go sideways.

Ive got bad news we broke it, but sure, its got a 180 size brushless hobbywing motor in it, I don’t have a link to that, I also replaced its stock friction shocks with trx4m stock oil dampened shocks(I modified it to fit), Im doing a crawler build on one presently, will post a detailed vid when im done. 🙂👍🏾

@@RantsBants it wasn’t a laptop, it was a diagnostic tool. The 2023 glx in south Africa doesn’t come with tpms(tyre pressure monitoring system) built in. However i have reset these systems and saved new settings on them on other cars.

@@RantsBants are you based in SA?, there is a huge diagnostic shop in Johannesburg, they supply many of the workshops and some dealerships, they also sell to individuals, you just need to do your research as to which one will connect to the Jimny and give you full access. Another option is to buy the suzuki software that they have in their dealerships and order the suzuki dongle to link up your pc. We are very hands on with our tech so prefer not to buy something like that online but rather prefer to go in store and test and see special functions

@@kyleosborne3856 Hi, the twin lockers are amazing. They came quite quick. It’s the one purchase that I don’t regret because i’ve been able to go in places with confidence that i would be nervous about in the past. Also the car is able to crawl up places with less traction easier because the individual wheels are not given a chance to slip.

@@febuilds I've watched your videos and seen what a huge difference it makes being locked up. I'm sure you've put a lot of the Big rigs in their place when tackling the tough stuff 😉. Maybe I should just give Andre a call and see what's happening with the shipment,I can't wait to have a locked Jimny of my own! Keep up the great videos man🤙

@@redewenur1984 the lowest i have is 350cst. Which seems to work perfect because it controls the energy of the springs perfectly and reduces body roll.

Also I wanted to point out that all the Off Road Jeep for rental at the Moab national park here in the US are run on Yokohama Geolandar AT G015

@@NZninG we just set it to the standard 1.8 bar and that seems to work for us

Are you sure it doesn’t come out of the same factory?
