- Proud moment for all the families at HMS Raleigh and for me and my family well done son .he went in 13 stone something and came out 10 weeks later 11 stone after eating 5000 cals a day
that alone should tell you how hard it is ...
so proud ...... Авто/Мото
This is my grandson. It was one of the proudest days of our lives. Watch the drill, to the music of " The Last of the Mohicans". Spectacular. Guaranteed to make you cry.
my brother went through this as well and will soon be sailing on HMS Queen Elizabeth
I am so excited to see my 16 year old brother in a few weeks at the passing out parade! It will be awesome ❤
What a difference Raleigh is from my time there in 1953 . I thought it was a chicken farm when I saw it from the bus that took us from Plympouth Station. I missed my passing out parade having been sent to HMS Dunkirk for advanced training. Always thought my RN service as one of the best times of my life.
2:55 when you can’t swing your arm because of your huge ass medal rack
A proud day indeed, but I'm getting seasick with the camera waving about all over the bloody place, "Buck Up" as my old Gunnery officer would have said.
Eric Williams ... Fair comment...I could have edited some of it out .but loved the Royal Marines bad music to much so left it in ....
Well done, enjoyed watching, passed out in Oct 87, best time of my life, especially marching off to' life on an ocean wave' !. Savour all of it, volunteer for everything & get involved. Good luck !
Well done to your son. Enjoy your time in!
10/10 for most Lancastrian commentary
My brother was at HMS Raleigh, and I think he was at HMS Ganges first in the late 60's. Was so proud of him.
Do wish I had a pass out like this, unfortunately due too covid, couldn’t wear number 1s and couldn’t have our family down, it’s a shame but I’m in, that’s all the matters in the end
True....and well done . You might see my son hes still loving the job ..

I went to Ganges but was ships company at Raleigh at various times during my 22 years in the Senior Service, parents find out their children now can walk without their hands their pockets, have grown, no longer slouch and so much more.,Friday afternoon 😅
Fond memories of my training at HMS Raleigh in the late sixties.
My son has just started week 7 of his training at HMS Raleigh!
Has he finished yet? (Sep 2020) ;)

midnight teapot sorry I haven't got a clue ..
Min 9:00 Don't remember having a WAFU flypast when I passed out back in '84!!
For those that don’t know
WAFU
Fleet Air Arm
Wet And Fucking Useless
My son did this about 20yrs ago and retires in 18 months from the Fleet Air Arm
Iv done PACAS ( lads and Dads ) twice , from Lisbon and Gibraltar . If you have a family member in and get the chance you have to do it
Being on a battleship coming home from a long trip is something really special . Sailing into Pompey for a home coming is something you will never forget
God blest them all
How long did your son waited to go to Raleigh cos I’m still in my last year and thinking of signing in the navy but I don’t know how long it will take?
Decca T 18 months but it might depend on what branch you go for
And when the intake is due .
Go on line to the Royal Navy website and see whats available or to your local Navy career's office
@stanly stud mate fuck up
@@MyJazz66 Thing have changed indeed, I finished school in July '71 and joined up on August bank holiday a few weeks later.
What branch did ur son go into out of curiosity?

Great importance is also attached to jizzing
Michael Stevens ...
What ever makes you happy I guess ...
@@MyJazz66 Was in one of the programmes, did you not see that episode? A recruit did that over another's pillow case. All on RUclips check it out.
Why is the camera man always crap🙄 got 1 job😂
Thanks mate... subscribe for more crap videos....
Not a bad turnout, but will never surpass HMS Ganges passing out parades.
Thanks . I've never heard of HMS Ganges I'm sure they were an impressive group of sailors.
The cameraman needs serious course. Focal issues.
Cameraman is a proud father I suspect… I think he has done an excellent job sharing his very proud day when his son Lewis has passed out. Congratulations Lewis, and thank you so much for sharing this video ❤
Navy wimps 2:47 look how shocking that marching is and look at that at 5:38
Hi thanks for the sub mate .......
No ones perfect ... most of these guys are aircraft engineers or medics..
I doubt most of the lads here will ever do drill again ... unlike the infantry who drill every day ... so they can remember which is there left from there right .
@@MyJazz66 They will drill again, every ship's company holds "Divisions" on a regular basis, whether the ship in question floats or is a land base.
You will notice there are many Naval personnel wearing long service stripes on their sleeves.
OK, I'll bite. To be fair, the trainees at 02:47 have probably only been in the Mob for a week. So be nice. 🙂
There’s always one!! Wonderful video ❤
