Let me know what you think of the playthrough, I know it's different than my regular "video essay" style vids, but I love a good horror game in October and decided it's better to take you ON the ride, than TALK about the ride for this one. Might do it with some other games in the future if ya like it :)

I really loved this! Never watched a full playthrough of outlast because it's so long but your video was great to sit through in one go. Liked the playstyle and subtle editing as well, definitely looking forward to more stuff like this if you decide on doing it.

Dunno if someone mentioned this but 17:47 - 17:50 my man Jack not only edited cigarette in between his fingers but he even went extra mile and put light effects on it. Love those little details, keep it up
I hope the algorithm favours a video like this. I thought it was wonderful, and was shocked to see you actually cut all the fat and kept the narrative flow of Outlast in 45 minutes of editing. Just interesting to think, 10 years ago, this WAS gaming on RUclips, now it's branched into so much more, including stuff like your usual essays.

Loved the style of video. I usually don't watch playthroughs like these because they're often too long and the voiceover is annoying, but your edit was perfect in keeping only the good parts and I loved your comments! I think those "walking simulator" games would be a good type of game for these videos, like Firewatch or Edith Finch.

"you won't have to kill yourself" is such a great terrifying line, it's so delusional and a twisted form of righteousness, I forgot how damn good this game was wow lol.
