I don't relate this to breakups or relationships at all as may have been intended. My old man was the closest thing to me, and I drank a lot while he was dying, and after, so this hits quite close to home.

I use to be like this. I was the one out there getting high and drinking all the time. I didnt want to feel the pain. I didnt want to feel a thing. So the high would make it go away. But the drinking all it did was make it worse. It made me feel worse. I couldnt escape.the pain from the one young lady that i fought so hard to keep from leaving bc she left any way. So I continued to drink and get high. For three months i was a drunk. Well almost three months. Now i am sober bc I stoped before it got to bad. So I can kinda relate to this song. It is my favorite song.

I just officially became a fan of Chris Young it may help that he has included my most favorite country singer of all time Mr Vince Gill. the combo on this recording is outstanding. I do wish Vince got more exposure with new artists because when they do the work is excellent. His voice is perfect and pure especially harmony for duets but what blows me away always is the guitar. If you don't know the man just listen to his work and I guarantee you'll become a fan and you are in for a treat. The most underrated man in Country Music today. This song should be a winner for Mr Young and I wish him well in the future he is very good.
