thank you for your video, someone insisted that I should check IACV. I knew from previous examinations that my engine doesn't have one (M111.957) but I started doubting my memory.

Great channel you got here dude! I own a 1997 SLK230 Kompressor (170.447) 5 spd manual as well, and wanted to ask you if you have had any kind of rough idle with yours, I know they are different engines but they share some parts. Since I bought the car in 2014 the idle isn't steady, it fluctuates between 600-700 rpms but the needle is never steady and I was thinking abut replacing the throttle body from another MB I own that shares some parts with the SLK (1998 C240). I wanted to know if you had any ideas that could help me diagnose the issue (I own a scanner and there aren't any engine-related error codes). Keep going with the videos! Cheers

hey, I do have a video on changing out the MAF, as I also had a rough idle problem but as such my rough idle problem might have been a bit different from yours. First off, as I have a different engine type I don't have a PCV valve for instance, or an EGR! Go figure. So it turns out that the MAF also comes in two specifications based on your catalyst (o2 sensor / or not). There's a few videos out there on EGR/PCV cleans and replacements. Check my channel for the one of the MAF and good luck with the repair!
