Thicker, more resistant walls on the sides with a very thin layer on top should be able to "aim" the explosion pushing both the pressure and heat towards the tank. You should look at HESH and HEAT tank shells and try and implement something like them inside the engine of the game. I would love to see how the simulation handles it.
Considering how this game cant really do moving objects, a squash head explosive wouldn't be very possible, but a shaped charge like in a HEAT shell might be possible.
Spike also saying that they are fine after the nuclear material is already killing them by radiation exposure
You wanna know something crazy. Nato actually considered putting Nuclear land mines in germany to stall a USSR attack. They shot it down because to combat the cold they wanted to put chickens in to keep them warm and also west germany was not thrilled with the idea of nuclear landmines.

Land mines arent war crimes by default, its only if they are specifically targeting people and not vehicles
They are war crimes in both senses. Antipersonnel mines are particularly egregious due to the massive amounts of civilian risk.

You really don't use vibranium enough. I suggest revisiting a few past destructions and make vibranium bombs.
I wonder how the strongest gravity field in the game would be like, without singularities or vaccum, and maybe if it would be capable of sustaining an actual star, and maybe even create enough pressure for fusion
