(you were saying resistance would break everything) It would be cool (and it wouldn't break anything) if resistance was a game rule, like ambient heat or Newtonian gravity.

@5:45 You need to test how much energy goes in compared to how much comes out. If its consistent you could use this to quantify and measure energy production in the game using an agreed standard size of cell.

I hope they update lithium some, since while it makes very cool things possible, it doesn't explode like its category says it does.
I wanna be able to fill a sphere with lithium with a ctype (contained energy in this case) of 99999999 (yes that's possible), put a drop of water on it, and watch it release all of that basically infinite energy into the surrounding area... instead of just heating up to 200C and nothing else happening.
We have some legacy menu options already, so adding an optional resistance feature should be possible
So like in real batteries they use layers of lithium and other materials to spread the lithium as thin as possible, so if you had the P type coming in one side, the N type going out the other, and layers of P then Lith then N then Lith Then P again with the P connecting to the P end and the N connecting to the N end you should be able to charge/discharge rapidly.

You can connect the input and output cables and if you charge it a little, it will keep going forever. If you then disconnect them, it gives off more energy than you put in.

With the whole issue of resistance,I would reccomend a realistic electronics area along with the electronics area.
neither would actually work together but it would make it so that people that want resistance and other realistic electric applications would be able to have that without it having to ruin every single build that used the old system.

the first time i tried out lithium, i kinda made an infinitely charging battery that only needs 1 spark to start..
its also over-complicated like everything i make
put a line single pixel of platinum with oxygen and hydrogen on either side. you like power and reactions. make water without explosions and power too
I made a quantum batter with extremely overcharged lithium to the point where the ctype was just a number and it was completely blue the number I charged it to was *1 0 , 0 0 0*
edit: I also made it so the even when not connected to any device it just charged itself so you don't need to turn the battery off
also while waiting for it to charge to ten thousand I watched an entire episode of lost in space
You can probably just use "sorcery" as some people call it, which is basically using PROP or console to change properties of elements, including data types such as ctype.
